One of the best parts of kingdom hearts two is the forms. but me an my friends were having some trouble leveling them up. what are some of the best ways

Fight heartless.

Valor = just fight anywhere with abundant enemies

Wisdom = kill heartless in the world that never was in the city

Master = kill heartless along the road to the dark depths (the way to sephiroth)

Final = kill nobodies in the castle that never was in the room after the hall of melodies

 

these are the best ways ive come with with and do them every time.

the trick to this is trying to do all of this and then getting the gauge back up. right before your gauge runs out you go to a save point and you go back into the ship your gauge goes all the way back up to were it was before you activated it. so when you level look for a place with alot of enemys and a save point near by..

 

for me this was.

 

Valor: World that never was with all the heartless.

Wisdom: same place.

Master: i cant remember where i did this.

Final: early levels i did the manson in twilight town and then later in the final levels i did the halls in the castle that never was

its the path down to where you fight the 1000 heartless, there are a lot of heartless along that path that drop drive orbs

I've gone down there a lot and never found him. guess i should look again when i get far into the game?

First of all remember. Lvl up till your gauge is in the 0-area than get back to your save point go to the world map and then get back to the point where you lvl. That way your drive gauge fills up again.

 

Also use Oathkeeper since it gives you a drive boost!

 

Now:

 

Valor Form: As soon as you get it fight every boss or semi-boss with it cause you get non-stop hits and the hits are the exp for the Valor form.

The best place to level without bosses is in the hallways outside of the emperors room in Mulan's world. Fight the Minotaur thingies. If you leveld up high enough to kill all Minotaurs in the hallway and still have like 2-3 drive gauges than get out of the palast and kill the enemies in front of it.

 

Wisdom Form: Fight the heartless in the city in the World that never was. Use Thundaga non-stop. The normal "shoot"-attack drains your drive gauge way faster. When you are out of MP "shoot" until you can use Thundaga again.

 

Master Form: Same as the Valor form but make sure you collect the drive balls because those are the ones giving you the exp.

 

Final Form: Kill the Nobodies at that passage after the room where you fight with Xigbar.

 

Trust me this is the very best way to level your drive forms. I dare anyone to give a better drive level guide.

if you need to recharge your drive gauge enter any tournament in the underworld and as soon as you start the fight quit and then your gauge will be full

Go with SoraWillPrevail on this one, that's a similar tactic to what I used ie. the Emperor Palace halls was boss for ;D

For all the forms except master make one run through TWTNW master go to mulan's world.

For the Master Form I just killed the heartless around Merlin's house and near the Bailey because they dropped Drive Orbs and then before the drive gauge would run out go to the Winnie the Pooh book in Merlin's house and you get a full gauge bar back as Donald and Goofy don't follow you, leave the book and the Heartless respawn again. Rinse and repeat.

It took me around an hour to level it all the way to 7 but I guess that depends on what level you are (I can't remember what level I was but you get the idea) but it's easy neverthless.
