Yes the old one, not the young version.

Anyways, there's something that came into mind after seeing this young version though. And it's about the knowledge of Master Xehanort.

Here's what I mean. Master Xehanort, as a young Keyblade Wielder, traveled the worlds. Coming across them, he got more and more knowledge of things like X-Blade, Keyblade War, Darkness, Kingdom Hearts, etc. At this point, it's mostly likely that he knows everything that can be told of, except to the extent of Nobodies, since they didn't have a major role until KH2. But what I've noticed is that Yen Sid seems to know just as much as MX did. You can clearly tell that he understands MX's plans, and he knows of the next coming of Xehanort.

However, Yen Sid knows of the Realm of Sleep. More likely, he knew it for a long time. It kinda shows that the Realm of Sleep existed for a VERY long time.

The question is...did Master Xehanort know of the Realm of Sleep? Was this something he picked up during his quest for knowledge? Obviously he probably didn't care for it. But...did he ever had plans for it? If he knew about this, it could very well serve him in the long run. Not during Birth by Sleep...but in the future.

Was this one of the many roads that he could be taking? A seed he planted in the Realm of Sleep, waiting to sprout? I, for one, don't know what the true intentions are. It could be anything. If he had cast a part of him in it, or is waiting on a certain someone within the RoS to carry out his plans....

Whatever it may be, it looks like Master Xehanort has something for us in Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.

Post your thoughts below on what you think of this.

very true i think the same thing about master xehanort planting apart of him in the realm of sleep because the dude seemed to know what he was talking about

Dude was crazy prepared, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of those paths

Definately this. I'm convinced Emblem heartless were created for the fake kingdom hearts, and I'm convinced he had something to do with certain worlds not being completely restored. Plus, since all his incarnations seem to exist in there, it's pretty likely. Even if he didn't plan it from the beginning, there are 10 years between BBS and Kh1 that he could have cooked this up--no doubt doing research as the worlds were destroyed. It's actually almost ridiculous when you think about it.

i don't think theres is something that he didn't prepare for hes a boss

Hard to say but Xehanort was a man that made it his business to have multiple plans so it's definitely possible. I suppose Xehanort could have surmised that Yen Sid, being the only Master left to be able to give a Mark of Mastery, would use the realm of sleep for the Mark of Mastery and maybe try to make sure the exam wouldn't go as well as planned.
