The gist here is that you're Naughty, a bear the other bears don't like. They don't invite you to a birthday party, so you pick up weapons and run around killing them. This sounds cool, but it's atrocious in terms of how it runs, the camera, the repetition and so on. It's just an utter failure on every front. Levels start by briefing you on what you need to do -- kill everyone, defeat people only using contextual moves, and so on -- and then you're out in the thick of it. As you kill the other bears, you're awarded points. These points unlock bridges so that you can go to the next area. Finish the objective and the level is over, and if you do well you'll get an in-game trophy. Once you have enough trophies, the next level or challenge will unlock.

The idea of this is fine, but the execution is terrible. You'll pick up weapons such as golf clubs, guns and machetes that you can use to maul these bears, but you can't lock on to them, so you're constantly chasing them, hacking a bit, and watching them run off. They won't get far, though; escaping enemies either get winded in seconds, trip, or inexplicably stop at campfires to warm their hands. Each weapon has an ultra kill (a canned animation you can use when an enemy is injured), but you'll discover these animations get old fast. Stabbing a bear in the stomach -- even if you execute the move from behind -- isn't as fun as it sounds when you've done it a hundred times.

What the fudgenuts is this?

Oh I played that game. You pretty much destroy stuffed bears however you can because they were douchebags to you. Repetitive though, as the review suggests, and got old pretty fast.

What the fudge

Sounds fun.
