tutti frutti. This has been bugging me after making a post in KH3D, but decided to put it in general since I'm not completely sure when and if Vanitas will return. I believeI made the post in a thread about trust in the KH3D section. Anyway, assuming that Vanitas returns, and he actually reveals his face to people outside of Ven and MX, do you think that Sora and Riku would be going at it again, let alone others distrusting Sora and Riku. One reason I say this is that with Vanitas being in the Dark Mode suit, and having his face covered with his helmet covering his face, Sora may think that Riku is evil again, while if Vanitas shows his face to Riku, Leon and others, they may think that Sora has turned evil. I think that this would be a great plot twist to the series by characters having little to no knowledge about Vanitas, much less why he looks like Sora. Part of me is hoping that this incident will take place at a point in the series.

Ohhh~~ I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for something like this to happen.......it could fall under that trust theme the game's going for. Pleasepleaseplease happen. >xDD

That is a possibility, since Vanitas and Riku sort of have the same build. And Vanitas shares his looks with older Sora. Even with the trust theme, I think Sora and Riku would have more faith in each other. Everyone else, however, I'm not so sure about. Thanks for bringing this up, this topic is really interesting.

Let's just hope Sora and Ven don't meet.

The only problem is that Sora and Vanitas would have the exact same build and Riku's taller than Sora, so really he should be able to tell if it was Riku or not. Besides it would mean that Vanitas wouldn't be able to talk because Sora would then recognise Vanitas' voice and compare it to Riku's and it wouldn't match.

Ventus might. But he never have seen Sora's face in the first place, so he might think that Sora was Vanitas. And Sora is pretty clueless, so Sora might think Ventus is Roxas. It's going to be hard working out the BBS characters coming back.

tutti frutti. Assuming that Ven and Vanitas somehow grow in height, then it could be possible since Sora and Riku did the same throughout the series. I'm thinking that Ven and Vanitas have something similar to Sora and Roxas if not opposite. By this I mean that Nobodies don't age, if I remember right. And with Ven and Vanitas, they could age, or even Ven without his heart they could remain ageless for the time being, we can't completely say at the moment. I would love to see something like this happen and how everything would come together should Vanitas return to series.
