I think my computer is trying to tell me something...

Posted

A popup keeps popping up that says 'this device can perform faster if you connect it to a-" then it cuts off. O.O

I keep getting rid of it but it wont go away!

believe me, the computer's not trying to tell you something untill panda's starts to pop up all over your screen xD

(it happened to me once xD)

Dchiuch is simply trying to communicate to you, and then penetrate you.

Don't ever open up anything unless u recognize the program. Sometimes i get this pop up saying that my computer could have a virus and that it asked to scan my computer and when i clicked yes, I noticed that it was not my anti-virus program so i ex-ed it out and then i scanned my computer with my real program and it had about 5 possible threats. So just be careful what you open.

@kushi- Oh, it was cuz i plugged in my mp3 player, i just thought it was funny cuz it wouldnt go away. and the phrasing.

I have nothing to say to that, Nathan.

lol, well fine! Get me all worried about ur computer for nothing. What a dirty trick Oblivion! lol, jk :P

Haha yea never ever believe those virus scans because they could be trojan horses. A trojan horse is a program that makes you think it is doing something good for your computer and then one day your computer will crash or have a virus or a worm. It happened to me, but my computer is now fixed.

yeah, one happened to my bro about a month ago.

Finally it cleared up, but for a while my comp had the swine flu

Computers get swine flu? Why wasn't I informed of this!?!?!? Oh and I have a program called Avast!, and it's a anti-malware program and it detects mal-walre and trojan horses and crap. So yesterday I got like 3 alerts, 2 were for malware and 1 was for a trojan horse. I was going to flip the hell out but it said ti stopped it so I was like thank you god lol.
