After the overwhelming popularity of the idea, I'm starting this rp. Remember, this takes place in the modern time. So people won't be very happy if you draw your weapon in public. Be careful. Also, this was an important question, and I'll answer. You can talk to your Inhabiter whenever you want. And I have to have Sephiroth as my enemy. Sorry, Azure Flame

 

Joy sat in the cafe, drinking his coffee slowly. He couldn't believe all of it was real. Final Fantasy, everything. And why Cloud chose him was boyone his understanding. After all, in the games, he was the cool dude. Still, having the Buster Sword was pretty cool. He finished his coffee and walked out slowly. He put his hands in his pockets and tried to imitate Cloud's expression, but he burst out laughing, causing to people around him to look at him. Oh, if only they knew.

OOC: Waiting on JesusFreak to do whatever her plan was with Scardigne, plus my other character is knocked out. As soon as that's all taken care of then I can jump back into this. Also, Sephiroth is basically the definition of god-modding, so anyone not expecting that surely doesn't know the character that well.

Tifa readied herself. Fortunately, Vincent was already there, controlling Marcus's body, so all of James's attention appeared to be on him. She thought it best to stay behind James, whom she was sure had not seen her. She could catch him off guard this way. Joy arrived, drawing his Buster Sword. Good. Three of them. Tifa knew how powerful Sephiroth was, and it was going to take every ounce of the trio’s energy to defeat him. “Cloud,” she thought, “be careful.” She sprang at James, aiming a kick at him.

(I know, I'm just making sure it's okay with everyone, getting permission to do it. Also, Number XV, would it be okay if, at one point during the battle, James stabs Joy and lifts him up with the sword? It's something that happens in alot of fights between Cloud and Sephiroth, and I'd just like to add it to this one. And I'm waiting for Damion's post to James's attacks.)

Vincent quickly turned into his cloak form and blasted out of the room. He then flew up infront of a painted glass window in the foyer of the mansion. "Wanna play Sephiroth? Come and get me if you dare!" ,He yelled as he reloaded. He was ready for practically anything, especially giving the fact that Sephiroth liked to play with meteors.

(Sorry I had a lot of laundry to do...)

James turned around and caught the kick with his hand (ala Duodecim opening ) and threw her at Joy. He then followed Marcus into the foyer and stood in the center of the room. "Three on one, eh? Seems like I'll get to have some fun with this." he said with a smirk. "Cloud, Tifa, Vincent, and Sephiroth, what a wonderful Reunion, don't you think? Now all we need for it to be complete, is Mother."

OOC: So sorry I haven't been on at all today. I have so much homework it's not even funny... 3: Anywho, I may or may not be able to post again. If I can't, Not-with-a-whimper can take control of Sara/Balthier till I get back on. I was going to do something really cool yesterday...but then I forgot what I was going to do. So I'm just winging it now.

 

Sara let Balthier take complete control over her yet she could still see what was going on. Balthier/Sara shouted "Raise!" towards August, praying it would revive him enough to get out of here or to have him somewhat conscious. Then, Sara with Balthier controlling her, turned back around to Scardigne fired two more shots and then cast "Slowga!" hoping to give them some time to perform one more spell. Her energy was dropping rapidly. I hope this will work. She thought as ran towards Chuck. "I'm going to cast a Vanishing spell so we can get out of here without that guy following us.." Balthier then had her cast Vanishga over August, Chuck and herself. She turned invisible, hoping the other two had also turned invisible she started to ran. She almost tripped but managed to stay upright. Here, take some energy from me. Balthier said and before he even finished, Sara felt a little bit better. Not great but better. It'll be enough to get out of here hopefully. She thought.

Joy just dodged Mariah, and aimed his Buster Sword at Sephiroth. His Blade was getting darker by the second. "I will have my revenge for what you did to Cloud. I'm gonna kill you!" He then charged recklessly, yelling as he did so. Cloud yelled in his mind, What are you doing!? Joy growled back in response, I'm getting revenge on him for you, you idiot! Cloud replied, No, you're getting darker because of the sword. Get rid of it! It's fake! Joy growled, You don't control me!

(( I'm dropping out. ))

When James caught Tifa mid-kick, she felt herself sailing through the air. She crashed painfully against the wall, and the wind was knocked out of her. It took her a second to pull herself together, then she was on her feet again.

 

She watched Joy as he charged at James. Something wasn't right with Joy, but she couldn't think about that now. She charged at James and threw a punch his way.

Vincent took his chance, and jumped on the stair railing behind Tifa and Cloud. He took aim at Sephiroth and opened fire with three rounds, screams issued from outside, but nobody came in fearing that the govenor's son had been kidnapped which worked to Vincent's advantage. The less innocents in the way the better.

OOC: Works for me.

 

August found himself waking up where he had fallen. He looked up to see, or rather not see, that his hand was invisible. He also noted that Scardigne seemed to be in perfectly good health, though he was dramatically slowed down, to the point of comedy in other circumstances perhaps. While August by no means felt great, he saw no one else around but Scardigne and took this opportunity to book it out of there. "Knowing when to run away means you live to fight another day," interjected Vaan into August's thoughts. "Run away? I was going to call it a tactical retreat. You know, that way I sound less lame," thought August back to him. He didn't know where to go, but the hospital seemed like a nice enough place to start. He needed some first aid anyway.

 

Scardigne was infuriated. He had almost been defeated by them before he summoned the armor and then suddenly he'd been as right as rain. No, even better than before! It was at that moment that he realized just how foolish he had been not to try to use more of his benefactor's power. While the assault by the one with the gunblade had managed to catch him off guard and even hurt quite a bit, it by no means put him out of commission. This Slowga spell coupled with the illusion magic, however, was infuriating! He was finally able to stand his ground against the three of them when suddenly he could barely move and his opponents disappeared? Gah! He swore that as soon as the magic on him wore off that he would practice to gain full control of Gabranth's powers. Next time they would not escape.

(This is seeming more like an epic FF fight the more I post in it )

 

James dodged the punch and thrust his sword at Joy. He caught him in the chest, just below the shoulder, and slowly raised him up. "Tell me what you cherish most." he said, smirking. "Give me the pleasure of taking it away." With that, he flung Joy into the air and created a Firaga ball in his hand, throwing it at him as he spun and caught the bullets on his katana and slashing at Marcus, sending the bullets back at him.

 

Chuck had been turned invisible by the magic cast by Sara. He heard her voice telling him to run, so he did. He began running in the direction that he heard her voice coming from, hoping the three of them could regroup and come up with a plan of attack.

Tifa looked with horror as Joy was dangling from James's katana. "Cloud!!" she screamed. James was winning, blocking and dodging every attack that came his way. And now Joy might be out of the fight. But she couldn't give up. She ran toward James, attempting yet again to punch him.

"Damn!" ,Vincent said lightly. He dodged two, but one grazed his right cheek and tore it open. Marcus felt the pain too and began to scream wildly inside Vincent, who turned into his cloak to reload, and got back infront of the window. "Ok, dodge this!" ,Vincent thought. He then went back into ghost cloak form and flew around Sehiroth and fired one behind him, one infront, and then one on either side. He then landed back infront of the window and reloaded again. "Only three bullets left...I freaking told you to buy two hundred bullets!!! Why are there so few here?!" ,Vincent thought angrily. "The others are in the room stupid! Or did you forget??" ,Marcus thought back.

Vincent gave himself a face palm, and remembered telling Marcus that two hundred bullets would be hard to explain in public...

Joy slammed into a wall, from the firaga. With that moment of weakness, Cloud took over. He stood up. "Still the same, eh, Spehiroth? I always knew you weren't using your full power on me when I fought you." Mariah seemed to be charging at James this time. Cloud took this moment to study the battle, and James, and keep Joy from taking over again. This Buster Sword was evil, taking over Joy's mind. Luckily, Cloud was strong enough to counter-act it, but it was only a matter of time before Joy took over again, and the fake Sword owned him again. Cloud sighed. He would have to use the Sword for now.

James grabbed her fist and smirked at her. "Bad move Mariah." he said. He waited for the bullets to get close and then let go of her, jumping up to avoid the bullets, and leaving her to get hit by them. He flew up higher and looked down at them. "Are you guys even trying? Give me a challenge!"

"Not happening!" Vincent shouted. He shot a bullet which in turn hit another, causing a domino effect, and the bullets landed around Mariah in a circle leaving her untouched. Vicent then shot his last two bullets at Sephiroth, and then flew down the hall to get more ammo.

(Haha alright, changing the name back to Mariah to avoid confusion.)

 

Tifa struggled in James’s grasp. His smirk made her blood run cold, and in an instant she knew his intentions.

 

When James let go, she dropped to the ground to try to avoid the bullets, but somehow Marcus was able to keep them from hitting her. "Thanks, Marcus!" She looked up at Joy for a split second. “What’s going on with him?” Tifa thought.

 

She ran to a corner of the room, trying to find a good angle to approach James from.

 

"Mariah," Tifa thought, "I need you to take the reigns. Controlling another person is harder than I expected."

 

ME?!

 

"Don't worry. I'll still be lending you my strength. You've got this."

 

And Mariah was back in control, but she could feel Tifa assisting her.

James caught the bullets on his sword again, and swung it twice. One swing sent a bullet at Mariah, and the other sent the other bullet at Joy. He then flew back, keeping the two of them in his sights. He knew they were up to something, and wanted to keep an eye on them so he could counter whatever they sent at him.

Just in the nick of time, Mariah saw that James had deflected Marcus's bullets, and one was heading straight for her. She jumped to avoid it, but it grazed her left arm. She winced and gritted her teeth, and looked at the wound as it started to bleed. Fortunately, it wasn't bleeding a lot, and she hoped it wouldn't slow her down.

 

Mariah watched desperately as Marcus ran down the hall, leaving only her and Joy with James. Joy was still just watching, hopefully planning something good. Alright, Joy, now might be a good time to move in on James! she thought. She tried to catch his Joy’s eye to make sure that he would be ready to attack as soon as she went in to distract James.
