Plot: The Discord and Harmony fight a never ending war. Each god chooses warriors from various worlds and universes to represent them and fight a never ending battle. Chaos, the God of Discord, selects his fighters from the strongest of all; power and greed are his warriors’ most common traits. Yet the Goddess of Harmony, Cosmos, chooses only those of strong heart. Her warriors may have lost the most battles, but with enough dedication, they may yet prevail. This battle is an undocumented battle, where the winner is so far undetermined. The story picks up after each side has had their meeting, and the warriors, the pawns, all set out to fight for their deity… as if they had any choice.

 

For those who don’t know Dissidia, it’s a mixture of all the main Final Fantasy heroes and villains duking it out against one and other. In this RP, you can control any Final Fantasy OR Kingdom Hearts Character. Your character must be assigned a side, Cosmos (Good) or Chaos (Evil). The gods wipe the memories of their warriors when they lose, but since it is unsure who won the last war, feel free to play with your character’s memory (such as if I were using Fang from FFXIII, she could be bad and only remember her hatred of Pulse, while if I were Kairi from KH, I could have her remember everything).

 

Be creative with your characters; inter-universe cooperation is greatly encouraged. If you see Aqua traveling alone and have always dreamed of Zidane hitting on her, go for it! Also feel free to have villains interact with each other… Who doesn’t think that a Vanitas and Sephiroth alliance would be great? Likewise, if Kefka feels compelled to attack Mickey, then why not?

 

To prove you’ve been reading the whole thing, post a little message to me between ** (e.g. *Great idea* or *Nice Haircut!*).

 

Oh, and there’s one catch… YOU CAN KILL EACH OTHER… But under only 1 specific circumstance.

At the end of every page, starting after #3, THE PERSON WITH A POST ON THE TOP OF THE NEXT PAGE WILL HAVE THEIR CHARACTER DEFEATED BY THE NEXT POST. So if (making up usernames here) Soralover4 controls Rikku and he posts on Page #3, and then Larxenelols (who controls Larxene) posts and winds up on Page #4, Soralover4’s next post will kill Larxene. Or I could post before her and have my Tonberry stab Larxene in the back.

 

Just like in a real war, there is no telling when anybody is going to die, so it’ll keep everyone on their toes. And if you control a warrior of Cosmos (say… Tidus) and another warrior of Cosmos was supposed to die (say… Namine), then make it an accident or a trap (have Namine walk into a mine or have Tidus miss with an attack and hit her.) And if they’re enemies, make it fun (who hasn’t had a dream of Sephiroth killing Minnie Mouse?)!

 

Here are the ground rules:

1. No controlling anyone else’s characters (unless given permission). If it’s your turn to kill Xion, don’t make her sing a song and jump off a cliff if she’s not your character. Just stab her, or drop something on her.

2. No God-Modding. That means that Chaos and Cosmos cannot be killed. And your character cannot just own everyone else on the battlefield (unless it’s Hope Estheim )

3. Don’t kill out of turn! Only one post kills per page (after Pg #3)!

4. No profanities. Sorry, I just don’t do that.

5. Keep it rated T. Zidane can hit on Aqua, but the two of them can’t book a hotel room together.

 

Rules about characters:

• If you die, stay dead. You can have a last line, but that’s about it.
• When you die, feel free to make another character.
• Keep the teams balanced. I don’t want the whole Organization XIII running around killing all the moogles. Anyway, the more warriors on each side, the more likely that side is to die…
• You can control up to two characters. Refer to Rule #3 when choosing. Hypothetically, I could choose Caius Ballad and Goofy, while Soralover4 could choose Sora and Axel.
• To sign up, post a bio or two.
• If you die and want to make another character, just post a quick bio.
• Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Characters only. I don’t want Orlando Bloom, Lord Voldemort, or Willy Wonka running around… not everybody knows them!

The most important rule is to have fun! If you have any questions, post them. Oh, and I've already dibbed Caius. The RP will start after we have some people on both sides. I'll update the second post with Alliances and Casualties throughout.

Sephiroth saw a young man with a big Key in his hand. He seemed to be running away from battle.

 

"No one escapes battle" Sephiroth muttered.

 

Sephiroth vanishes and appears in front of Terra. Before Terra could summon his Keyblade, Sephiroth sliced through him.

 

Terra fell to the ground and Sephiroth smiled and vanished.

 

But just before he vanished Sephiroth said "This will be easier than I thought,_ killing off the Cosmos pawns."

"You have no right o be here pawn of Chaos." The goddess stated. "I will make sure your next step is your last." Axel raised his chakrams.

Kairi enters Cosmos sanctuary. She see's two men standing next to Cosmos.

 

"Hello" Kairi said happily to the men.

 

Then she realised they were starting to attack Cosmos.

 

"Chaos pawns, You not getting Cosmos!"

 

She jumps in front of a red haired man who was about to attack Cosmos.

"What!" Genesis looked at the girl. "You idiot, get out of the way!" Axel stopped the sword from hitting Kairi, "Don't just stand there, move!"

Bio: An elite student who is unsociable and hates forming relationships with others, Squall aspires to walk the path of solitude like a lion. Whether out of personal charm that attracts others, or just a coincidence, a lively crowd is often seen by his side.

Bio: A knight clad in draconic armor, with lance in hand. Though not one to display emotion, he is compassionate and possesses a strong sense of justice. Though he fights for Chaos, Kain holds not the ideals of his comrades and helps his enemies.

Squall wandered World B, but for what purpose, he did not know.

As Squall walked, he came across a man lying on the ground, dying.

Squall ran to the man, "Are you alright?"

The man looked up at him and with his dying breath uttered one sentence, "Find...Kairi..."

The man disappeared, leaving Squall alone in the wasteland of the world.

'Great...like I didn't have enough on my plate already...' Squall thought before he turned toward Sanctuary.

Kain descended through the sky and landed on a mountain just outlying Sanctuary.

"I remember when I was one of them," Kain said to himself.

As he looked over Sanctuary, he saw two men with red hair fighting a girl in pink.

'Unfair odds against a girl?' Kain thought. 'I shall have to remedy that.'

Kain leaped into the air and landed in Sanctuary. He held his spear up to one of the men, "I hope you didn't expect to have such good odds in this fight."

OOC: Nope, neither Tidus nor Squall was taken.

 

~Caius~

 

Caius laughed as he saw Terra start to fade.

"You see, a pitiful goddess leads to pitiful warriors."

Noel turned his swords into a lance.

"Caius, it's over!" he shouted, and hurled the lance at Caius. But Caius simply blocked the blow, and shot a cloud of darkness at Noel. As the cloud vanished, Noel was gone.

Caius turned to face Auron.

"Who will you guard when there's no one else to protect?"

Noel appeared next to Kairi. He heard Axel shout. Too weak to fight, he made a quick decision.

"Hey, girl, listen to him!" he shouted, and grabbed Kairi's hand. "Don't die here!"

And with that, Noel practically dragged Kairi out of Order's Sanctuary.

Kain watched the boy appear and take the girl. Good. This was going to be interesting.

Kain assumed his battle position before taunting the two, "Have you ridden yourselves of regret?"

He had fought for too long, he needed a break. But he had to protect Kairi. He drew his swords.

"Are you really going to pick on a weakened soldier and an innocent girl? Where's your sense of honor?" he shouted at Kain.

"What part of saving does everyone seem to not understand here." Axel stated. "You quiet, i am but inches from slitting your throat." Genesis pointed his sword at Axel. "It just doesnt end now does it." Axel said arrogantly.

Bio: A young thief and ninja. Her childish personality makes her seem weak, but make no mistake for she is an excellent warrior.

Weapon/Fighting Style: Shurikens and Giant Shuriken. Various other ninja arts.

Alliance: Cosmos

Kain turned back towards the boy, "Are you a fool, boy? I'd rather help than hinder your rescue of the girl!"

Kain turned back towards the two men with red hair, "Does Chaos' warriors really bicker this much with themselves?"

"Careful now, you got me mixed up, i am with the goddess, this guy is the Chaos goon." Axel pointed at Genesis. "If you make another move, i will cut you open." Genesis tightened his grip on his sword.

"Help?" he said. For some reason, he felt like he should trust Kain, but Kain was a Chaos warrior...

Noel looked at Kairi. She wasn't ready to fight, and neither was he. Noel would be better to test his luck with Kain and die in a trap than lose here.

"Fine," Noel said. "The three of us should head to the mountains then to rest."

"And i just think i endangered myself...so" Axel summoned his chakrams and desappeared. "I hate that." Genesis mumbled to himself.

*Yuffie awakens* Yuffie spots Terra's dead body. "I don't know where I am or what I'm doing here, but that spiky brown haired dude looks like he's hurt."

Yuffie runs towards the brown haired man and tries to use Cure on him. When it dosen't work she tries Life. But that dosen't work either.

Kairi stood there still pointing her sword at the enemies. A young man named Noel had been there to save her. But Kairi didn't need saving, she just wanted to save Cosmos.

 

Kairi turns to Noel and says: "Let's fight we need to protect Cosmos, these guys look weak anyway."

Axel was able to get father away from the battle. "A little cowardly of me, but if i stayed any longer i would have been fried." Axel looked at the cut Genesis was able to put on Axel. "Yeesh, that pretty boy had some guts."

Squall heard some noise behind him and looked to see a girl trying to revive the man he had encountered earlier.

"Don't bother," he called out. "He's gone. He's been slain. You'd just be giving the manikins a chance to get you too."

Kain looked at the last man there and raised his spear, "Unless you want to have your life end here, I'd suggest that you leave as your partner did."

Kairi looked at the red haired man trying to escape from battle.

 

"Stop right there" Kairi shouted chasing after him.

"You all are very stubborn pests, dont you realize you are obeying a god that cant even stand on their own two feet. You might as well give up, it only makes sense to just give up your shurade. Infinte in mystery, is the gift of the goddess, we seek it thus and take to the sky, ripples form on the waters surface, the wandering souls knows no rest." Genesis raised his sword.

"Hey, Mr. Beaver Tail Hair! What the heck is going on here? Why are there dead people all over the place? What are manikins?" *Kills Noel Manikin that appeared behind her* "Are they those things?"

'If these are my allies, am I surrounded by idiots?' Squall thought to himself. He looked back up at Yuffie, "THOSE are manikins. And don't ask me about the dead people. What else would you expect from a war?" Squall turned away and began walking to Sanctuary, which wasn't too far away, "If you have any other questions, I'd point you to Cosmos, the one who summoned you here."

Kain raised his spear to Genesis' sword, effectively initiating an en-garde with the man. Kain smacked the blade away from his spear and charged toward the man.

Genesis efficantly doged, "well, guess someone has to battle me, this seems to be more fun then those soldier lap dogs."

"To Cosmos then! Bye Mr. Beaver Tail Hair!" Yuffie runs off to the Cosmos sanctuary. "Hey is there anyone in here named Cosmos?" Yuffie spots the fight going on. "So, who am I going to help? Because I really want a piece of the brawl! I'm feeling a little off my ball because of that transport but I can still takedown anyone who gets in my way!"

Kain laughed a little, "I can tell this will be fun." Kain spun his spear above his head before attempting a stab at Genesis.

Squall stood there as Yuffie ran past.

'Beaver Tail Hair? Has she seen herself in the mirror lately?'

After the thought finished, Squall continued toward Sanctuary.
