So I don't know if anyone talked about this but in the interview nomura talkes about that there is a reason the TWEWY chars. are in Traverse town.So what do you think is the reason? I don't really have a theory but it's probably like merlin and leon, there world was in darkness or something.

Well, Traverse Town is in between the realm of light and darkness so a lot of people whose worlds were swallowed ended up there. So maybe their world is still trapped inside a dream.

A world inside a dream you can't wake from... and if you don't wake up, you can't return to your original world.

So they can't return home? Does this make sense?

Nah. I personally know a Grammar Nazi, and Grammar Nazis don't use "y"s and "u"s in place of "why" and "you" (or capitalize "plot" when not at the beginning of a sentence).
