Online shopping guide for Japanese Products

(kingdom hearts products)

Posted Image

I thought that since there are people who want to buy the kingdom hearts final mixes or other kingdom hearts japanese products it would be nice to start a thread where everyone can suggest japanese sites that they trust and have delivery options for japanese products to Europe,Usa and Australia

If you are a regular customer to a japanese store and have experience with online shopping you can post information and sites that you trust so that other people can visit them and maybe find a product that they have been looking for

I will start with some common sites

Cool, I'll use this in a few years when I graduate and can finally import whatever I want online.

If you can't find what you want from play-asia or yesasia, there is also Amazon Japan. There is a guide here: http://halcyonrealms.com/books/how-to-order-from-amazon-japan-a-detailed-buying-guide/.

Another option is to search for online stores in Japan. This requires having the name of what you're looking for in Japanese, and knowing how to find them with a search engine. When you find a store that has it, you can take the link of the page to this site: http://whiterabbitexpress.com/. It's a 3rd party that will order anything for you in Japan and ship it internationally. I order Japanese study books from this company so I trust their services.

Third Option: get a plane to Japan and buy it in person ;)

There should be like rating thread thing because this thread is just awesome. 6/5

I am a collector myself and I am looking for legit KH stuff. Thanks for bringing this up! :)

And thanks Oishii for the guide :D I might get some from amazon jp then lol :)

Btw, does the Amazon UK works the same way Amazon JP? Do they ship internationally as well?

They ship Books, CDs, and DVD/Blu-Ray internationally. They won's ship Figures, PC Software or Video Games though. You'll have to use a Mail-Forwarding service (Like Tenso) for those products.

Zavvi does. I've used them to import Xenoblade, they are very reliable.

That's awesome! Thanks for posting this! :D

I can't seem to find it anywhere....it's Out of Stock everywhere I've looked. I'll keep looking but the best I've found is on Amazon UK Marketplace (£89.98 for New and £64.00 used.) and they don't ship games to the US either.

Yeah, that's kinda rare I think lol well unless I get a middle man that would buy it for me there then ship for me here T_T

Simple guide:

To play Japanese PlayStation 2 games you'll need either a Japanese PS2, Swap Magic or a PS2 with a mod-chip.

To import Japanese video games purchase them off Play-Asia.com.

To import Re:Chain of Memories from North America to Australia or Europe:

You'll either need a North American PS2, Swap Magic or a PS2 with a mod-chip.

To import the game you'll just need to purchase it off Amazon.com
