Dom Lock walked into her office in the building The Sevrel Conglomeration had set aside as a PPSA headquarters on Parsidia's 29th level. She dropped her satchel in on her desk and sat in her chair. She checked her digital clock on the wall to her left, her energy sense telling her what patterns were lit up on the display. Five till Eight. She had slept in, but since there was no angry citizen demanding things, it wasn't too much of a detriment to the day.

Dom took of the sunglasses she wore in public and pressed two fingers to the bridge of her nose. She could feel a migraine coming on. She took out some over the counter pain killers from her top desk drawer and took out two of the pills. She popped them in her mouth and took a healthy swallow from a bottle of water she brought with her that morning.

"Alright." she said to herself as she recapped the bottle and placed it on the desk.

"Let's see how this day goes."

"Knock Knock" was There a Sound of a Hand Knocking Dom Lock's Door being Made.

Dom felt the energies of a life through the door. From the feelings of metal and a tech power source, she knew who was at the door.

"Come in." She told Yamano Hirogi.

She faced the door and tried to work her eye muscles to make it look like she was looking at the door. It was hard, but she still tried. Several people had commented how disconcerting it was for her not to look at them during conversations.

"Hello, Mistress Commander."

 

Said K.A.T.A.N.A as that Title what he Used to Call Dom Lock was What he had Allways Used up to Now to Call Dom Lock as his Commander in Chief.

"That's a bit better." Dom told K.A.T.A.N.A. "The old title was a bit too...important sounding for my job."

Dom leaned down and hit the power button on her computer. As it started to boot up, she turned her attention to the cyborg officer before her.

"Any leads in your investigation, K.A.T.A.N.A?" she asked as she settled back in her office chair.

"None so far but i Will find Out the Truth Behind the High Street Crash, Just Wait."

 

Said KATANA as he Started Clenching his Cyborg Fist very Roughly.

Jane walked into the building and pulled her hair into a ponytail. She walked quickly into her office and took her sniper rifle or, spotter, as she affectionatly named it off of it's spot on the wall mount.

" Another day of work Spotter." She said quietly as she sat in a chair and began to clean her rifle. Jane got up and started shuffling through the drawrs in her small desk.

" Where did that blasted rag go." She muttered moving onto a shelf where she found a small slightly dirtied piece of cloth hanging off of a small picture of Jane and another girl both in military informs. She looked at the picture for a minute then turned back to her rifle.

Dom raised a hand in a calming gesture.

"If i thought you wouldn't find the truth, I wouldn't have assigned you the case." she stated.

Dom took in air. She had distanced herself from people in general after her little heroic display. While that had been all fine and dandy then, now it made it a little harder to deal with people. She decided to just wait for KATANA to report something about the case instead of prying.

She stood up and walked to the door.

"Anyway." she said to KATANA as she passed by. "There is a couple of news reporters trying to dig up more info on that case. They probably try to get some sort of statement from you. Be diplomatic, but say what you feel you can."

She exited her office to the main room where the officers of Marshal Team had their desks. Just outside Dom's door was a small bar with refreshments. Dom started to make coffee and noted Jane's presence.

"Good morning, Jane." she called over her shoulder.

Yami was wondering the sidewalk of the town. Her hands were in the pockets of her jacket and she watched the cars and people that went by but tried to avoid looking like a stalker. She didnt want to sit in her office all day, but instead watch for any unusual activity. Nothing seems to be going on here, she thought and lifted her head. For the past week, some criminals were waiting to try her since Yami was in her late teens but she got them in jail in a snap of a finger. She smirked at the memory of that and continued walking

"Heh, Mistress Commander."

 

Said Katana, Knowing full Well about Dom Lock's Personality, Being that he Is a Member of Marshal Team after All.

Dom gave, or tried to give, KATANA an odd look. She wasn't really sure what he meant by that. She dismissed that. He'd do alright with a few reporters. If she could restrain herself from knocking the block off a reporter for asking her millions of question, some of which were insulting, she expected the people under her command to do the same.

"Also, don't be too afraid to ask if they have dug up anything new." she said. "Reporters love to show off what they know."

The smell of coffee told Dom that her pot was nearly done.

"Either of you want some coffee?" she asked both KATANA and Jane.

" Morning!" Jane said cheerfully setting Spotter down on her desk. She glanced at KATANA then back at Dom.

" Sure I'd love a cup." Jane said stuffing the rag into her desk drawer. She stood up from her chair and took out three mugs incase KATANA wanted some too.

" So you got anything for me to do today?" She asked looking back over at Dom.

"Thanks."

 

Said Katana, As he Thanked Jane for Setting Out his Cup of Coffee for him.

Dom pulled the coffee pot out of the machine and poured some in the mugs Jane had brought.

"Nothing special today." She answered Jane.

She took her mug and poured in some creamer. When she was done, she offered to the others.

"Just some patrols around the levels and what ever cases you still got."

Dom told herself not to be too optimistic about the day. Do that and the world hands you something new. Maybe good, maybe not.

Yami saw nothing of interest and walked back to the headquaters building. She sae katana, jane, and Dom. She smelled coffee and she just noticed that she was a bit tired from her last assignment. I never really liked that stuff, she thought as she walked towards them but she felt mostly refreshed from the walk around town. "Hey everyone." She simply said

"Yami.".

 

Said Katana, Calling out Yami's Name in a Simple Manner.

Dom aimed her head towards Yami and gave her a nod.

"Good morning, Yami." she greeted.

She sniffed to take in some smells.

"I think there is some fresh bagels if you are hungry, Yami. You feel tired."

Yami laughed lighty, took a bagel and rubbed her eye. "I'll be okay." She said and took a bite. I wonder if there will be anything interesting today, she thought, there was no activity this morning. She felt both of her guns resting at her belt. They were cold since she hadn't used it in a few days. Yami felt a little better after eating her bagel.

Dom took a bagel herself and began to eat it with her coffee.

"Berch said we should be getting some days off soon." she said, referring to the head of the PPSA. "Don't know when, but they're coming."

She took a sip of coffee.

"Reward for good work." she added, a small smile touching her lips.

She had a good crew and always liked giving them good news.

Jane smiled at the new pouring a small amount of creamer into cup.

" Nice, but how will they take care of things when we are not working?" She asked before taking a sip. Besides, i'd miss spotter. She thought to herself looking at the laying ontop of her desk.

"We are working out a rotation system to allow whole teams to take leave, if need be, while the other teams cover for them." Dom explained.

She moved away from the table with the refreshments to not crowd it.

"I don't expect it to be a regular thing, but it's good to see how well this would work. Like I said, I don't know when it's happening, and I'm sure there will be plenty of work between then and now."

Dom focused on the digital clock on the near wall. She wanted to get some paper work done, then go on patrol for a bit. She hated paper work but it was part of the job. The patrol was the treat to bait herself with to get the paper work done.

Chase looked around his new office, he was new to this job and was excited to see what it had to offer. He was curious to why they chose him though. He was sure there were better candidates, but they just thought Chase'd a great edition for the growing team. Chase then walked to the little break room and made himself a perfect cup of Coffee. "Ahhhh" Chase said with a relaxed tone as he leaned up against the counter and drank his delicious coffee. He looked around the rest of the department wondering what the others were up too

" Oh...." Jane said slightly confused by th idea but accepted it.

" So! what area do Spotter and I get to scope out today?" She asked since her specialty was to spy on suspected criminal gatheringsby watching through her scope.

" Unless of course its a boring paperwork day." Jane shuddred at the thought and sipped more coffee. Please don't be paperwork, pleasee. She pleaded internally looking from her cup of cofee to Dom.

Dom chuckled.

"If you got paper work to finish, Jane, then do it." She answered. "If you are up to date, just keep your phone on you for instructions later."

Dom started towards her office, then stopped when she registered Chase's presence.

"New man, right?" she asked, moving over to him.

She squinted her eyes to make her black and white eyes staring sightlessly less noticeable.

"Chase Shade. Glad to have you as a part of the team." she said, offering a hand.

" Okie dokie!" Jane finished her coffee then looked at her paper work.

" Yes! I finished yesterday." She grabbed her phone and slipped it into her back pocket.

" Phone check, spotter check, ummm thats it!" She carefully put her sniper into the bag and slung it over her shoulder.
