With the recent release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 last Tuesday, I've been playing the game a lot. Today I decided to listen to the soundtrack on my computer while I play, because I got the Collector's Edition and got the 4 disc soundtrack. I popped in disc 1 and started to listen to it when I recognized that it wasn't XIII-2's music. I took a closer inspection of the music and it was from Final Fantasy XI. I tested the next 3 discs and they were all XIII-2 music, but.... Everything was in Japanese. If anyone else here got the Collector's Edition, can you tell me about your discs.

Really?? I got the Collector's Edition, too, but I won't be opening it up for a while yet. That's weird with the first disc... But I don't mind everything being in Japanese in the FFXIII-2 soundtrack.

Right, I mean the Japanese text isn't going to bother me, there's a soundtrack booklet included, so hopefully it'll line up with it. It's not just me who got a FFXI soundtrack, other people say that they got it too.

I got the Collectors Edition and had a problem with it too. The 4th disc was missing. The other 3 discs were fine.

Mine was dandy. No problems here.

 

It was in Japanese, but I just changed it myself. Easy enough.

The limited edition in Australia came with a one disc soundtrack, with only 6 songs. It's like a composer's selection or something.

I'll check mine when my birthday comes (Friday) I really won't care because it's on the internetz.
