KH2 Kairi's Good Luck Charm a Wayfinder?

Now this might seem a bit dumb or stupid, but I just realized something.... Isnt Kairi's good luck a Wayfinder? Because Aqua said they have to be made with seashells and thats exactly what Kairi did.... so Is it actually a Wayfinder or the exact same thing or what? Let me know on your thoughts below: ....

Well, I think it's a Wayfinder, but it's also Oathkeeper's Keychain.

That's exactly what it is, but it doesn't have the same powers as the other wayfinders we've seen because Kairi didn't put any spell on it. So it doesn't light up or anything, however obviously Kairi believes that it keeps returning Sora to her.

Well you gotta remember, that the chain on Brightcrest is Aqua's Wayfinder.

It's more of a Wayfinder than Ventus, Aqua and Terra's. A true Wayfinder is to be made out of Thalassa shells and Kairi used those to make it for Sora.

1. It was traditionally made.

2. It didn't doom Sora to disappear from the light realm..... unlike Aqua's

Kairi's good luck charm is defianately a wayfinder, and one that is made the way a wayfinder is meant to be made if I might add.

Yeah it is a Wayfinder. And it works too. As long as Sora promises to bring it back to her. Because Sora never breaks a promise. Also if you read the KH Manga: spoiler you'll see that the "necklace" she was working on on day 2 of raft building was actually the Wayfinder.

sorry computer's acting glitchy. made me double post on a side note who else wants Aqua to be Kairi's Master. You have to admit it would be a perfect match seeing as how being a Princess of Heart Kairi must have some serious latent magical power and Aqua is the "Mage" of BBS

I suppose it is technically a wayfinder, but grouping them all together just doesn't seem 'right'. Its a good luck charm from one of the many island legends that spoke of an object fishermen used to keep for good luck on their voyage. Its origins are humble, and serves as much more of a symbol rather than an actual force driving the friends together. I have nothing against the wayfinders of bbs for once serving a purpose outside of the story, but between the magic that was put on them and their mystical origins from a far away world, they ironically lost something special in being special. In becoming a good luck charm that may connect hearts from afar what it lost were its humble origins and thus, in my mind, became a wayfinder. If Sora's good luck charm ever takes on an active role as the charms did in bbs calling it a wayfinder would sit 'right' for me, but for now, it doesn't.
