The reason I dislike her as a character is because she would never stop complaining about how she never wanted to be there and how she wanted to be with her family. Okay, we get it. You hate the Games. You want to go home. Please for the love of God, shut up. And then when it came to Gale and Peeta, whenever she preferred one over the other, she couldn't help but find at least one flaw and hold it against them while saying, "Gale/Peeta doesn't have this flaw like Gale/Peeta has." Also, she tended to say and do a lot of melodramatic things that were completely unnecessary and we didn't need to hear them. The Hunger Games itself was good. I enjoyed reading it. But Catching Fire and Mockingjay, along with the characters were disappointments. Suzanne Collins got the plot and story structure right, she's just not very good at creating characters.

The reason I clicked on this topic is because I thought it had to with KH3D.

Then I apologize for making it seem like everyone should agree with me. I don't mean it and it's not my intention. My friends, family and I always had huge discussions on how we agreed Katniss and co. weren't good characters. We've talked about it so much it's sort of ingrained in me and it's hard for me to see why anyone would like her. This is why I act the way act I do. There is something that has been confusing me as well as bothering me. Why do you keep saying lol? It makes me wonder if you're actually mad at me or if you find this all amusing.
