So i was looking through my KH games and all the games that have Sora and Riku on the front the're never looking in the same direction even on the KH1 case Riku's looking the opposite direction. Any theories why?

Sora chose light and always continued it.

While Riku chose dark path, but changed to walk road to dawn.

Because Sora is light, and Riku is dark. So the art work is a symbolism of how light and dark are opposites. Even though Riku is technically twilight

But it just their different paths.

Because Sora is light and Riku is darkness, and they ARE NOT in love.
