Lets all start on the train ride to the Capitol.

Keithia rubbed her arms up and down her shoulders to control the freezing panic rising up inside her. This was not happening. She'd wake up in a few hours, with her best friend, Fern, standing over her. They'd go to the forest to work, and stash some of the rarely found fruit because the lazy watcher would be working that day. But no. Instead, Fern had been reaped, and Keithia had made a silent oath that she would never let anything bad happen to her. She looked at the tiny carving of the wooden heart that Fern had given her. Keithia remembered that day, she had been playing in one of the trees, when she ran into Fern. They'd both been very little, but they kept coming back everyday to meet up. One day she gave her the heart. Fern had looked up at her and smiled. "Cause we're best friends." Keithia turned her head to the window, letting the tears make a steady path down her face.

Melody finally comes.

"There you are." I say. I'm really nervous. I can't help but smile. I smile when I'm nervous. I have asthma also. My breathing goes faster and faster. I start shaking. Suddenly, I feel the chariot jolting. I feel movement at the bottom of me.

Here we go..I think to myself. I start laughing for no reason. The Capitol laughs along with me.

Keithia sighed a little, and nudged Ebony a little as their chariot pulled forward. "Come on, you want to get sponsers, don't you? The quicker we smile and wave, the quicker we can get out of here." Keithia blinked against the harsh lights, and plastered a fake smile on her face as the chariot pulled forward. She looked at the Training Center, where the chariots were taking them. It seems so far away. . .

Ebony couldn't manage a smile but waved a little. It was best for her to come across as a little cold then be tagged as a phony, that would earn distrust, distrust meant her plan would go down in flames. Ebony glanced over at Keithia, atleast she was managing a smile for now, she could pull off the friendly thing, Ebony had too much hate to smile. Here we go, she thought, let the games begin.

Melody almost let out a squeak when she saw the people below cheering and screaming. She did a big cheery smile and waved at them. 'This is gonna be a longgg day.' She thought.

I wave at the crowd.

"Might as well get sponsors anyways" I say to myself. I glance at Melody. I'm going to have to kill her. And the rest of the tributes. I don't want to. I want to escape now. never knew it would get as emotional as this. No. I will just hide. I can't kill anyone. That's impossible for me. I smile and wave at the crowd. I look at the Training Center.

'No. It's too far!

(Could somebody give me a what has happened so far up to the moments in the chariots please.)

 

Michael has been silent since the train ride up till the moment where they ride their chariots. He watched the crowd in awe as they passed through the town. To the right of him was the other tribute from District 4, he remembered her name as Silver, they didn't really talk to each other much. Look at all these people, ready to watch us get ready for the Games and then watch us kill each other he thought to himself.

Soul didn't wave at the crowd. He didn't even look at them. "we're going to act confident,"he said to achilles "hey,you're looking pale,everything alright?"he asked. Soul turned and looked at the big screens. The flashes of the cameras were blinding him but he had got used to it since after the train. "I wonder how Robyn is doing.." he muttered. Soul was particularly worried,he was just concerned. "so Achilles," soul began without facing him. "here's our chance to show them who we are" he said as they approached the entrance of the training compound.

Silver waved to the crowd in her beautiful dress Riku had set her up with. He had based it off something called a mermaid. Even though Silver didn't know anything about it, he said the crowd would. Her mentor, Sora, claimed to have met one. She looked to her side, where her fellow tribute Michael, had been sitting there. She had wanted to be friends, possibly be an alliance, but he refused to talk to her. Oh well, she would have chances to make alliances during training and mealtime. She turned her attention back to the crowd. They loved her, so Riku had been proved right. For some reason, this made her giggle a little. The crowd really ate that up. "Sponsors would be earned tonight, and hopefully I'll get a lot of them." Silver thought to herself, her mind switching back to the strategy in the arena.

(Don't let the rp die yet! We haven't even gotten to the arena yet!)

Soul sat in a small hallway with no seats. He had his back against the wall and his feet stretched. He was waiting for the peacekeepers to come and escort them into the training. "I'm bored,wanna play a game?" he asks everyone.

Finally, the chariots were pulled in, and we were allowed off. "Finally!" I cried, exasperated. I turned to our mentors. "So from here, we go to the Training Center, right?" The man nodded. "Yes, you'll train there for a while, then your private session with the Gamemakers, thenyour interview, then you're off to the arena." he added, grinning evily. I turned away and looked at the other tributes. I wanted to talk to them, but the Peacekeepers were almost ready to take us to the training center. Probably to take this coustume off.

Soul realised he was still in his costume that he was given for the chariot ride. He walked down a narrow hallway and entered a room to his left. Inside,he rummaged through everything he could find and eventually found some clothes. After getting changed,he returned to the others and asked "when do you suppose we start training?"

After getting off the chariot, Silver immediately went to change her clothes. When she was done, Silver went back to where the other Tributes were. When she got there she heard one of the Tributes ask when training started. "If I recall, it starts tomorrow after breakfast." She said continuing into the crowd of Tributes.

The chariot rides have ended, and tomorrow they were to begin training. He said good night to the other tribute from his district. He then went back to his room, ate some grilled fish, and then headed to his bedroom. The glare from the lights in his room reflected off his ring and into his eye. He took the ring off and read the inscription. Inside the ring, it inscribed the motto his father always said while they fished, "May the seas be your ally." He slipped the ring back on, turned off the lights, and went to sleep, ready for the following days to come.

Melody let out a sigh of relief as she changed into more comfortable clothes. She then went to her bedroom and looked at her father's gold pocket watch that gleamed in the light.

The chariot rides were over and now I'm taking a hot shower. Ahhh the water feels good I thought as I scrubbed the makeup of my face. After my shower I changed into a silk night gown. I looked at myself in the mirrior as my beatiful brown curls cascaded down my shoulders. My dad always said I looked like my mom. That I was the mirrior image of her. I just I hope I can see my dad again I thouht and climbed wearily to bed. Lets just get trainig over with.

Everybody quieted down as soon as Silver came along, and a few had even left to go to bed. Feeling she wasn't wanted, Silver went up to her room and took a shower. After that she undressed and climbed into bed, too tired to care about things like sleeping clothes. Long day after all.
