So... I'm just wondering what the console wars are for. I don't get why people constantly compare Xbox, and PS3, they have basically the exact same gaming library and PS3 is obviously the better (hardware wise). I don't own any of those consoles but I still don't get this topic O.o

I don't see what is so special about either one of them. Ps3 and Xbox both have their online thing (Home/Live), both have internet, Videos, Music, Pictures, Hulu, and stores. The only difference, I guess, is that KH will NEVER be on a Microsoft company product.

Halo is Xbox, right? I'm not sure. Not a fan. Uncharted is Ps3, and Xbox internet costs money? Whoa. This is why PS3 wins!

The console wars are pointless. They are fueled by fanboys who must hate all competition. People who have preferences, and back them up with good reasons are fine. But the fanboys that drive the console wars prefer to use the more pointless reasons, sometimes not using reasons at all. The best thing to do is to not worry about the console wars, and buy/play the consoles YOU like. Trust me, life is much more enjoyable that way.

each system has its own advantages and disadvantages. console wars are just another thing for people to fight about and argue over. like religion, politics, career choices, college choices, music, etc. personally, i prefer the PS3 because i like the exclusives such as Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Heavy Rain, and soon The Last Of Us. The Xbox 360 does have a somewhat better online speed and community, but considering i'm paying for it i would rather just pick the free PSN. Although, you can choose Playstation Plus which you will pay for, but lose everything you bought from it once you choose to stop renewing your membership. Hardware wise the PS3 is better, that's why it's initial price was so much higher, but it honestly comes down to personal preference.

I personally love my PS3 a lot more and I play on that way more than the xbox. PS3 has way better graphics and even though the internet is free, the internet on my PS3 is better than the Xbox (which you have to pay $50 for. For what? Im still not sure, but it's ridiculous.) The hard drive is also a lot better on the PS3 and I think their exclusive games are a lot better as well. God of War, Uncharted, Kingdom Hearts (obviously its never been on PS3, but its an exclusive PS game). Gaylo (Halo) does absolutely nothing for me. The PS3 controllers are great too because they're smaller and fit very comfortably in my hand. I absolutely hate the bulky xbox controllers and hate the feel of them in general. I just overall love the PS3 way more than xbox.
