So, if you watch the Jump Festa video. Malificent is on it. I wonder what's her role on Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.

I think she might try to get the 7 princesses again. or maybe they might edit her out in the final game thing.

I don't know how she'd mix in with the plot.

What do you guys think?

I think she'll be edited out. The storyline is already on the verge of being confusing. We don't need another bad guy!

I REALLY hope this is the case. We do not need her in this game unless it's a REALLY small role. She was completely useless in KH2...but there is a scene in the trailer was Lea does save Queen Minnie from Pete and her and he is all "got it memorized...' o.o...so...maybe they can't edit her out.

I don't think she will (be edited out) just on the basis that she knew Master Xehanort when he was human. In BBS she and MX met and we still don't know everything about what they did then, so she is neccesary to a point. If The World That Never Was features, she will need to be there because thats her castle. But she wouldn't feature as a bad guy, per se, just a cutscene charcter who explains some loose plot points. Kinda like in KH2.

I would prefer it if Malificient was stil THE bad guy, but alas...

I'm none too fond of Malificient being trivialized more and more as the series goes on. She started off as she should have, as a formidable power to be reckoned with, capable of taking over Radiant Garden and coming close to nabbing Kingdom Hearts for herself. But she keeps getting shunted to the sidelines, made weaker with every appearance, doing a great disservice to the character and her potential.

Her role is to steal the data worlds .....and she threatens King Mickey bystealing Queen Minnie as we see at the trailer...but i am not sure because we heard her talking about the seven keyholes of sleep....hmmm

Maybe it'd connect to the whole Re:Coded part.

We'll just have to wait 19 more days.. I'm psyched!

I just,

don't see any place for her anymore.

Maybe she'll try ruling the realm of sleep?

Idk..

They need to find a more interesting way to include her into the plot.

But yeah, maybe we'll learn how she learned about the darkness in people's hearts and all of that.

i think Malificient should stay in i mean she is the main disney villain and who knows maybe after maybe after xehanort is gone for good after kh3 she might step up to be the main villain yet again she is growing in power which cant be left unchecked

I still think the Big Bad Wolf should be the main disney villian.

I think she's in the game to just provide information about Master Xehanort to King Mickey.
