  • Sounds legit. Take that Australia.

  • America gave birth to Walt Disney. Walt Disney gave birth to Mickey Mouse and a shit ton of stuff that makes up Disney. Without Disney there would probably be no Kingdom Hearts like how it is today

  • Almost all of them are not reasons. The people who invented them may be Americans, but they are not America. Oh and by the way "Proper English" didn't originate in America, but the Anglo-Saxons who

Wow I didn't think saying that would get you Americans all cheesed off. But honestly Lea you're calling me butthurt and you're the one who's being a bit of a prick and dickish and calling me stupid. EG "Doesn't seem to comprehend him". You just seem butthurt that I don't agree with you. I think I realise that this wasn't to be taken seriously and it doesn't take a smartarse to work out I was just promoting conversation and debates. @KairiSora06, i'll give you that one. And @P50L it's not like you don't stereotype Englishmen in a totally awesome way either. Besides I even checked out some history sites which were American and they said involvement in Europe was minimal, it's not like I just fabricate stuff. I'm not saying that America didn't do anything to help change the war, you were just sounding it like that Europe did nothing and that we did not fight at all, 500,000 Brits, 600,000 French and amazingly 23 Million members of the Soviet Union died, so I think that Europe did contribute to the war to, which is not the way you implied it Lea.

Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear. I'm guessing you don't know what the word 'Imply' means. America entering was a turning point because they basically defeated Japan, and provided some assistance to England. I'm pointing your lack of knowledge in everything. And I will carry on being butthurt and crying if it means I will get replies as amusing and hilarious as yours.

LOL See this is what im saying....You are butthurt and i think its hilarious. We did more than just fight Japan.Ive already listed some facts and others have listed more facts. The only one with lack of knowledge is you which several others besides me have pointed out.So keep telling yourself that .My facts are straight. You on the other hand cant possibly point out anyones lack of knowledge until you brush up on your education. Your temper tantrums do serve as amusement though.xD ..Bragging about how much you are gonna whine and be butthurt makes me giggle though. So carry on .......xD

LOL xD I find it hard to believe that you are intelligent with grammar like that.

im not american and i know the americans joining wwii was in fact a major turning point/the us had a lot of involvement and anyone that disagrees needs to go back to history class. and how could it be not MAJOR involvement if it was really only the americans that secured pacific? europe wasn't the only part of the WORLD WAR. you can't say any country had the MOST involvement sure, but the states did not have less than MAJOR involvement.

...

Fourthly, that's communist propaganda.

>Good grammar

Also whilst there were plenty of American troops partaking in D Day and Operation Overlord, troops were contributing from Canada, Free France, Poland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Holland and the UK, with the UK providing the bulk of the force as well as taking command.

Not to mention the major turning point of WW2 was Germany's failed attempt to invade Russia.

Once again , No ones saying that America was the only one doing the work. This other poster was saying that all America did was fight Japan when thats far from true .Yes Germany's fail with Russia was important .There were several major points that affected WW2. He tried to say Americas role was minor when it was quite major.Read the entire thread and you will see what i mean.

I did, and America didn't have a minor role, but it didn't have a major role either. It was somewhere in the middle.

To be honest most arguments presented in this thread were abysmal.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say America ONLY faught Japan. Besides abysmal arguments makes for good reading,eh TBM?

Don't fraternise with me unless you do so with high quality grammar.

However, to answer your question, yes they do

Yeahhh the thread's gotten a bit out of hand so I think it would be better if we just go ahead and close it.
