I've been noticing the constant reuse of KH character designs in future characters... such as

Xion and Kairi

Sora and Vanitas

Roxas and Ventus

Generally all of the organization's XIII's members (besides Roxas) to their original person

I know that there are some exceptions, such as Namine and Kairi, and that many of these similarities in designs represent the connection between people, however, starting with Days, it just began to bother me how many times they've reused their designs... I will say that the stories fit in nicely, so there is an explained reason for their similarities.

In short, I kind of wish they would be a little more original with their newer character designs (interestingly enough, I don't think I've seen a particularly long-haired KH chara yet, besides Riku)

Well, for some, like Nobodies and their original personas, they generally look similar. (Even and Vexen, and Aeleus and Lexaeus are exactly the same...)

There are reasons for why they look similar. I don't want to list all the reasons for each character, so maybe look them up yourself.

Ah, yeah I know that there are reasons as to why characters would look similar/have the same design-- I'm just saying that I feel that SE is just starting to overuse their KH chara designs

Yeah, I know what you mean, Aqua was like the first new character they made in a while (I remember NOmura saying something about needing to start from scratch). Well, and Eraqus too. But I see your point.

Kingdom Hearts is different from most final fantasy games in that it revolves around one central character the entire series. I guess we should be lucky we get anyone original. I wonder if there will be any new keyblade masters in teh future...

For me, long hair is around mid-back length.. haha
