Do you usually use the long or short form of the names of the KH titles when talking about them?

Most of the times I use the abbreviated form of the names D; KH3D, BbS, KHII and such :P

What about you?

Do you usually use the long or short form me of the names of the KH titles when talking about them? 179 members have voted

  1. 1. Do you usually use the normal or short form of the names of the KH titles when talking about them?

    • I usually use the long form -- I like to use the normal form of the name of the games.
      15
    • I usually use the short form -- I like to abbreviate the names of the games.
      34
    • Depends on how big the normal name of the game is.
      31
    • I guess I use both -- sometimes the normal, and sometimes the abbreviated/short form.

Yeah, abbreviated for me as well; KH1, KH2, CoM, BBS, re:C, ect. Generally, when I'm bringing up the games, it's part of a rather large and fast discussion, so typing out the entire name just takes time I don't really have.

Well it usually depends on the how long the name is.

~Yep~

Since people pretty much always know what the abbreviations stand for, I see no point in using the full name

Birth by Sleep

Kingdom Hearts

Chain of Memories or Re:Chain of Memories

Days

Kingdom Hearts 2 or KH2

Re:Coded

Dream Drop Distance

Eh, I just tend to chop off the Kingdom Hearts part unless it's the console ones. xD

It depends who I'm talking to and what game. 3d is what I generally refer to dream drop distance as. Bbs I use birth by sleep unless I'm on the forum... Et cetera.

I abbreviate the words to save time while typing, and I also say it, too. Though, I would imagine if I talked to someone about KH, I would have to say the whole name.

Both actually. Starting usually with the long ones in a start of a convo (mostly with some not very familiar with the games) to know and then abbreviate them cause well it's easy xD

I usually try to use whichever name is proper, such as 3D mainly because it's the actual shortened version for Dream, Drop, Distance

Depends on the length of the game's name.

My peers hate video games so I have to use KH

Usually both. Depends on the convo I guess.

This

Well one time I told my non KH fan friend that I couldn't wait for BBS, and she was like "what the hell is that?"

So on here amongst KH fans I find myself using the short form. However anywhere else I say the long titles just to confuse people. 358/2 Days happens to be my favorite title to say to non KH fans ;D "What do you mean? Theres 365 days a year, not 358" lol

  • 2 weeks later...

I use both, though I probably use the abbreviations more often.

  • 4 weeks later...

KH1

KHReCom

KH2

KH 358 2 days

KH Recoded

KHBBS

KH3D

i guess i shorten it?
