As we've seen during the final events of 3D YMX wields a keyblade, but it isn't the keyblade MX(old man) wields. He wields his time keyblade called no name, but he's confirmed by the latest translations to be a MX from a different timeline, so why doesn't he use the keyblade MX(old man) uses?

because its him from a different time. The one the old MX has he probably obtained at a later time. YMX's keyblade could of been one of the first ones he obtained..

Perhaps he just prefers a different keyblade at this point or he hasn't yet learnt to take control and summon his other keyblade.

 

It can also be the game designer's way of differentiating the two.

Probably because his ability to shift in the time frame depend on the use of this keyblade. Just taking a guess here
