Hello again.

 

I was looking at the new pic with Ven's reflection in Vanitus' mask, which looks like it's melting or something. I took a close look at the eye and noticed that it looks like a girl's eye. You know how they have the female's eyes all big and the lashes long sometimes? That's what I saw with Vanitus' eye, what I could see of it.

 

This is just my opinion, so please feel free to discuss, but please no flaming. :-/

nevermind i just saw it yeah it looks like a girls eye but how do you know its vanitas and plus in the new trailer they said vanitas has the same voice as sora whatever nice find

I thought Kairi was a dude in the opening due to lack of voice/boobage. You never can tell with those Japanese.

 

I also thought Marly was a girl the first time I saw him (which happened to be without sound). But, who blames me for that?

Ah, that's true. I didn't think of that. :blush: It could still be a possibility, though, couldn't it? I mean...That could very well be a chick, couldn't it? Though I was very surprised by how...cartoony...the eye looks compared to the main characters. o_O

When you really look at most of the guy characters, they tend to have very feminine appearances. I guess that's just Square Enix's style...

Still, if Vanitas is a girl, she's a really flat girl... Actually, in these games, it's hard to tell who's a guy and who's a girl. They all have overly-defined midsections...

well,Vanitas did talked,and sounded like a guy. he's voiced by sora?! but he/she sounds soooo emo,and alone. Van could be a girl. I Mean, maybe she has a vocie changer in that helmet.:heart:

Thats true...maybe Van's Mix? It does look like a girl. but the new picture of van's eye looks a bit guyish. but he could be a chick! you never know. Once I see this game,then we'll find out!!

Personally I think Vanitas is a boy, mainly cause MX stated himself that he was a boy.

But the laugh kinda threw me off.

 

Maybe they hired M. Night Shamalan to direct this game...

No, Vanitas is a male. His voice sounds male, and his Japanese voice actor is Sora's Japanese voice actor. On an unreleated note, I wonder if Vanitas will be voiced by Haley Joel Osment in the English version of Birth by Sleep.
