Ok, so, as most of us have seen, in the end of KH3D's opening:

 

We see Roxas along with all the other good guy Keyblade Wielders so far.

I'm not counting Eraqus since he's kinda dead.

 

After discussing a bit with a friend of mine, i got this little theory here (correct anything wrong in it please, like facts in the KH story that i probably didn't understand well and may have wrote stupid stuff.)

 

The theory contains some spoilers, though...

 

Okay, so let's start with this:

Ventus could use a Keyblade;

Riku was supposed to have the Keyblade Sora got in KH1 because Terra chose him and stuff;

Riku went to the darkness, so his Keyblade ended up going to Sora;

Riku "stole" back his Keyblade at Hollow Bastion;

Sora gets to build up his own power, being chosen by a Keyblade when his heart gets stronger in KH1 (MY FRIEND ARE MY POWER! Scene);

Riku ""gives up"" on Soul Eater and gets Way to Dawn in the near end of KHII (TWTNW);

Sora has Ven's heart;

That gave Sora the ability to wield two Keyblades;

Roxas has Ven or Sora's heart in Days; (not sure)

Roxas can wield a Keyblade because of that;

Xion is an imperfect copy of Sora;

Its (well we're not sure if it's a girl or not, lol) Keyblade is "the same" as Sora's;

When it dies, every Sora caracteristic of it goes back to Roxas;

That made him able to wield two blades;

At the battle against Roxas in KHII FM, Sora can wield three keyblades;

One is his;

The other two are Ventus' and Riku's old one;

 

So that's a lot of information. Most of it is probably wrong but anyway:

 

Sora got the ability to wield the keyblade because of Ven's heart, and, by having the ability, he could build up HIS OWN keyblade. My point is, if a Keyblade can be built up from having the ability to wield someone else's Key, then why wouldn't it be possible to Roxas to build up his own heart from Sora or Ven's heart? From what i know, Keyblades represent a being's heart's power, am i right? ...No?

So with that knowing of mine, maybe by having his own heart, he would get an all new keyblade of HIS.

As Oblivion and Oathkeeper represent Riku and Kairi respectively, maybe he could get one that would remind Axel and Xion...?

Nway, the theory makes perfect sense, in my opinion. But... There's this scene in KH 3D that... Oh, sorry, you said to me that you don't want to spoil yourself Sorry...

 

And I liked when you putted "Riku "gave up" of Soul Eater", because in fact he didn't abandoned it. Since this happens in the beggining of KH 3D, maybe I could tell you. Riku, in the battle against Ursula, uses Soul Eater, but right after this battle, there's a cutscene where he calls Way to the Dawn. In another cutscene, where Yen Sid is explaining everything about the MoM Exam, Riku summons Soul Eater 0_0 Like, this completely destroyed my theory that Soul Eater turned into Way to the Dawn

 

Well... I liked the theory, but maybe, only KH III will answer all our questions

Um...okay. It's interesting but flawed. Let me explain some of the things you're not sure on.

 

Roxas has Ven's heart, just so you know.

Xion's death did not make Roxas gain the ability to wield two keyblades. That ability was always with Roxas, but the anger of his friend's death made him tap into more power, memories of Ven may have also been to do with it and that triggered his ability to dual wield.

In the Roxas KHII FM battle, Sora can't really wield a third keyblade. He just had to use it and get rid of it before it returned to its user. I think a similar scene happened with someone who can only wield one keyblade or none at all.

 

Also, people don't exactly build keyblades. Keyblades are sort of pieces of light/darkness/hearts that take a physical form. Sora didn't build the Kingdom Key. That keyblade has actually always been. It is the keyblade made up of light from the realm of light. It chose Sora as it's wielder after Riku turned to darkness. It draws power from his heart but it is not so much created from his heart, although other keyblades are created from a person's heart; like Oblivion, Oathkeeper, etc.

It might be possible for Roxas to create his own personal keyblade; but you could say that Two becomes One is his personal one. But since he's never used it in a cutscene it's difficult to say. I don't know about a person creating a heart. I don't think it's possible but who knows. Sora...sorry, you don't want KH3D spoilers so I can't say this. But um...let's just say, Sora wants Roxas to become his own person.

"Build up" is a way of saying he "got" it...

I belive that Roxas doesn't have a heart. When Sora became a Heartless in first game, the part of Ventus that lied on him have torned apart and became Roxas. So, Xion, built to absorve Sora's memories that lied on Roxas (this explains why she looks like him) in order to weild the Keyblade, when she gotten defeated by Roxas in Days, he absorves these memories getting the ability to weild two Keyblades.That's what I know...

Roxas is my favorite character and I would like to see him as a Somebody, but...

I'm brazilian too btw.

Axel, Namine, Roxas, and Xion all have hearts I think. I think Roxas started with Ven's heart but doesn't need it heart anymore if he has his own. I also think that his heart or feelings and Sora's need to "combine" since they together "make up one existence", according to Namura.

I like to think that Roxas, Axel, and Xion "grew" their own hearts. It doesn't make sense, but I can't believe that Roxas is just Ven's heart. They are too different. I want Roxas to have his own heart.

 

Now about that Dual Wielding... Roxas can use his own Keyblade (proven by the fact that Roxas and Sora overlapped a few days using the Keyblade at the same time). His second is... Nobody is sure. I suspect that it is Xion's, which makes sense since he sort of absorbed her.

When Sora Dual Wields, I think he uses his Keyblade and Roxas'. I think Sora's Keyblade is his own; Ven just allowed him to obtain one when their hearts connected. This is just like how Aqua and Kairi don't have the same Keyblade, but Aqua gave Kairi the ability to.

In that battle, Sora vs. Roxas, I think Sora just stole Roxas' and Xion's Keyblades that Roxas was using.

If Braig and Isa are able to build their own hearts, Roxas can. Done.
