Summer has begun. For the kids of Twilight Town, that means no school and fun. For some, however, this summer will hold other things as well. A growing conflict is happening outside their world that they know nothing about, yet they will be drawn into it. Fate waits. Who is called?

 

 

Rules:

1: No controlling other peoples characters without their permission.

2: Keep language, romance, gore and so forth on a PG13 level.

3: No Godmodding unless it works for the story.

4: Maximum of 3 characters currently.

5: No killing each other without mutual permission.

6: Please post "Inbetween" at the bottom of your post to show you read the rules.

Key Concepts:

• This game starts at about the time Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream, Drop, Distance begins.
• The game starts with a group of kids in Twilight Town.
• Magic and actual weapons will come in as we play, so work it into your story.
• Your starting character can originally be from another world, but they are now a resident of Twilight Town.
• To start, travel between the worlds is not possible for the kids. This will open up as the story goes on.
• As the story goes on, I will allow players to make characters that are already Keyblade wielders, adventurers and so forth.
• Square Enix took and reimaged favorite Final Fantasy characters to fit KH worlds (i.e. Tidus, Waka, Seifer...). Don't be afraid to do the same with any Sqaure Enix, Disney or whatever character you want to bring in.

Personality: A little cold, tough, determined, and protective.

 

Bio: A highschool student known for her athletic ability, Claire Farron is an indepented girl that has few friends. Protective of her little sister, Serah, Claire learned to fight off bullies to protect Serah. Her skill at it lead to her tacking up practice fighting and she is currently practicing for the next Struggle tournament. She gained the nickname "Lightning" for her fast and powerful fighting style.

The stranger from the sandlot was still in Twilight Town, Proven by the fact that he was seen, Sitting ontop of Twilight Town's Train Station's Clock Tower, Eating Sea Salt Ice Cream, While talking to himself, Saying "The time.......Is nearly upon us all." Said the stranger, As it seemed that there was something he knew, Something that hasn't taken place yet and something, Seemingly certain for sure, Something very secretive.

"Hi it's nice to meet you Balthier. I'm Lexi,"she says, greeting him with kindness, looking straight at him. She felt a surge of happiness fall over her. Was it because she is finally making friends? She watched as Vanille got closer to him. She must really want to make new friends. A small grin came upon Lexi's face.

 

(I just woke up )

Balthier caught the smile on Lexi's lips and mistook it as a the smile of a lovestruck girl. He decided to work some of his magic on her. "Wow, Lexi. That's a really cute name? Do you go to Twilight High then?"

Dexer nodded with a smile "The more the merrier," Dexer then looked around as they all started to greet Balthier, Dexer just gave him a nod as they all walked up to the shop. Dexer walked behind the counter and tightened his apron. He pulled the pan out and washed it then started putting together the cupcakes. He then finished them up with icing and everything and layed them on the counter. "Cupcakes are free so ya'll dig in." Chase said as he dusted off his apron then hung it up on the rack.

"Um, yea," was all Lexi could muster up. Was he tryign to flirt on me? She turned her head towards Dexter. "Thank you," she said as she took two cupcakes, one for herself and one for Balthier.

Serah got two cupcakes, one for her and Lightning. Lightning took hers with some reluctance.

"Thanks." Serah said musically to Dexer.

Lightning nodded her thanks and started eating her cupcake.

"Everyone staying in town this summer?" she asked.

Balthier took his cupcake and just took a moment to think. "There's been a lot of new people showing up recently, hasn't there? That's pretty odd, isn't it? I wonder why...?" Balthier took a bite of his delicious treat and pondered.

Dexer took off his apron and cleaned it up "I'll be staying here all summer due to money but I am going to the beach tomorrow to sell cupcakes. I'm sure I could talk tot he boss and get ya'll to come with and 'help' out the shop" Dexer said with a grin,"if we sell quickly we can spend the rest of the day at the beach. That would be a lot of fun right?" Dexer asked

"Me too," she said thinking about everyone else she has met. Lexi took a couple of bites out of her nicely offerered cupcake. She turned to face Dexter. " A day at the beach sounds great, and I would love to help out," she replied eagerly. Summer has just begun and she wanted to make the most of it.

"Hm...the beach, huh? I guess that could be fun." Balthier said, only thinking about how much he could steal, especially if he would be working with this cupcake salesman. "Count me in, if you can. Don't worry, I can pay for my own way there."

"Alright cool well I will talk to my boss and don't worry he will say yes. But here is what we need to do, I need to build a little stand so I think Balthier and I can easily set one up while you girls can take an apron and help hand out free samples which will make everyone want to come by and actually buy some, but I will need one other person to help me sell the treats in case it gets busy" Dexer told them

"Great idea!," she said, while looking for some aprons. Treats and the beach are her two most favorite things. Honestly, nothing could be better than right now. This must be her greatest day of her life.

Dexer examined each of their sizes and handed everyone an apron. He looked at the clock on the wall and saw it was 8pm. "We should probably get home and rest before tomorrow. Ya'll meet me here at 6am tomorrow and we will head out ya'll can choose the jobs you want tonight and then tell me in the morning, but don't forget to bring your swim suit." Dexer said as he cleaned up the shop

'Pretty girls in swimsuits and more money for me. Tomorrow will be good' Balthier thought. "I guess I'll see you guys later." He said, walking off into the center of Twilight Town.

"You.....Wait.....A.....Moment....." Said the stranger who was previously sitting ontop of Twilight Town's Train Station's Clock Tower, Approaching Balthier, With an unknown purpose it seems.

Balthier jumped and turned around startled. "What?! Who...who are you?" Balthier demanded, his usual confident demeanor only dropping for a moment.

(Okay)

 

"See you tomorrow Dexer," she said and waved goodbye at him as she left the empty shop. She got on her skateboard and went to her home after such a long day. She kept thinking about tommorow. "I can't wait," she said quietly to herself and closed her front door.

"You.....Are.....Not.....Of.....This.....World.....Are.....You?" Said the stranger, Wanting to know if Balthier was truly a resident of Twilight Town or not.

Dexer waved by to her as she left and then he pulled out a duffle bag from behind counter and checked the insides, he had his swim suit, supplies to make the stand and all other beachey things he needed. Dexer then started to bake all types of treats, cup cakes, cakes, mini cup cakes for free samples, then he made donuts and more types of things. He had everything boxed up separately and everything in place and in the duffle bag waiting for tomorrow, it was right at midnight by the time he finished.

 

Dexer walked outside and made sure the sign said closed. He then walked back into the store and set up his apron widely on the floor then he pulled out his struggle bat and used it as a pillow

Vanille had finished her cup cake like everyone else but she didn't know where to go next. Most of the kids were returning home but Vanille never had a home.

"Thanks for the Cup cakes." Vanille said to Dexer. "But I should be going now, bye!"

Dexer woke up and it was 6 he knew they would start showing up soon so he cleaned up his make shift bed and put his apron on. Dexer reached into his pocket where there was a picture of his mom. She had just died not to long ago but he had to keep strong. Its what she would've wanted. He then walked outside with his duffle bag and slipped the photo in his apron and waited for the rest of the people

Lexi woke up at 6:30 and started getting ready all of her items in her bag. Towel, sunscreen, extra clothing, and a couple of munny just in case. She put on her swimsuit on underneath her clothing. She took her skateboard and rolled to the center of Twilight Town, near the shop. "Hey Dexer,"she said and gave a wave, stopping her skateboard.

Dexer smiled and then waved as she pulled up. He then tossed her an apron "let's go ahead and catch the train and get to beach, the others can

Meet up with us later.". Dexer said as he tossed her a train ticket and started walking down to the train station with her. They got on the trauma ns within no time at all they were at the beach.

 

Dexer pulled out the supplies and built the great stand quickly. "since the others are late how bout you help me out with the stand and they can hand out samples?" Dexer said as he started laying the treats out

"What? Why should I-...My parents weren't born in Twilight Town, apparently but I've lived here all my life. Why do you want to know. And since you seem to have some trouble with your hearing, I'll ask again. Who are you?"

".....Xeha.....Nort....." Said the stranger, Telling Balthier what his name is apprantly.
