So I was thinking, and something was bugging me... Young Master Xehenort still looks like terranort only younger. Why do they look so similar if Young Master Xehenort is supposed to be Xehenort from long before he stole Terra's body?

Thats just the way his hairstyle was i guess lol

Or perhaps Xehanort wanted the body of someone who resemble him the most when he was younger.

This might be far fetched but maybe Terra is another verison of Xehanort that remained uncorrupt. After all, I don't think he was evil in every single time line, there's bound to be some exception or there would be a lot more of him not that I really get all the time travel stuff. Long story short, I really am beginning to believe that Terra is a version of Xehanort that remained good. Not sure exactly why he was there but wherever darkness goes, light always follows doesn't it?

I think it's just the Haircut... at the begin, when Terranort was found by Ansem, he had Terras Haircut. But later, he styled it the way Xehanort had his haircut in his younger times. I think you asked the wrong Question. You should ask WHY he had Xehanorts old Haircut. This could be a sign ;o I mean... Maybe he had his Memories from the beginning, that's why his look resembled Xehanorts younger Vesion

i highly doubt that; Terra is his own persona; YMX looks like Terra after MX possessed him because they were fused and were displaying traits of both ; the YMX on the island looks nothing like Terra when you compare them and i would bet my life they are around the same age

Don't you mean to say AX (Apprentice Xehanort) here? YMX in 3D looks exactly like he did on the island in the distant past. The only difference is that he's wearing an Organization cloak now.

his hair is much longer and his body is more defined ; he is younger in 3d

There's a duplicate of the BBS scene in 3D's secret ending though and he looks exactly the same. YMX from 3D is most likely the same age as the YMX flashback from BBS. They're the same person and have absolutely nothing to do with Terra.

I was always under the impression that was just a symbolic parallel between Riku and Xehanort. Remember, KH1 Riku was a lot like Young Xehanort; both viewed the island as a prison, both resorted to using darkness, etc.

Extrodinary,the first part displays Riku's first experince with the keyblade going through the inheritance ceremnoy the rest is self explanotary

u know how sora starts to look like ven because vens heart is in his sooo maybe when xehanort fought for the light maybe a darkness took him over and his heart of light searched for someone and found terra maybe just maybe this is why terras hair is like that
