(Although it was never specified in FF: Incarcerated, this RP takes place in NYC. For me, at least. I'll probably leave anyway.)

Callum turned off the TV and looked at his clock. It was 2:00 A.M. He couldn't sleep ever since he learned a powerful game villain was inside him. Vanitas. Ever since Vanitas possessed him (If he did, maybe he was in there since birth, so gained influence) Callum had been a jerk. He didn't have any friends now. I hate you, Vanitas! He heard a scoff. Really? Do you? Callum summoned his keyblade. "I won't let this take me over. Vanitas, you won't win." His void gear looked ominous. Too ominous.

Sumer looked down upon the battle from a rooftop. He saw another person run towards one of the Behemoths. He felt a very distinct familiarity coming from him. 'Is this your doing Ansem?'

'That is somebody I formerly possessed. He unfortunately dispelled me eventually.'

'As good a person as any to start my elimination of Inhabiters.' Sumer jumped down from the rooftop, blocking the man's path. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness than took over from there. "Nice to see you Riku. I see you took a page out of my book possessing somebody." Came out of Sumer's mouth.

Ansem! Riku said as James stopped in front of him. "Riku is not possessing me, just lending his powers." James said. He held the Skull Noise in front of him and said "Riku and I will defeat you Ansem. He's done it before, and now he's got the power of Sephiroth from me as well."

"Pathetic. Just because you did it once before doesn't mean you can do it again. Ansem learned some things after his and Riku's last encounter." Sumer replied and drew his sword. Ansem came out again, apparently not being able to resist the prospect of taunting Riku again. "Riku, I know you. You will lose yourself to the darkness once again. And that pore Inhabiter will as well." He released a Dark Firaga. "Remember that? You used to do that with my help."

James knocked away the Dark Firaga with his Keyblade. "Riku and I have fallen to the darkness once before, we will not fall to it again." James said. He created a ball of fire in his hand and threw it at Sumer.

Felix looked around at the chaos...things were getting out of hand...and fast. He needed to get everyone out, but how? That's when he got it, and so...using the power he obtained from Axel he tossed his chakrams at the behemoths, jumped over them, grabbed his chakrams as they landed once again, threw them at Ansem's host hoping to blindside him, and then caught the chakrams once again. He then rushed back to the bus, and drove forward. It was a long shot, but he hoped it would work. He would use the bus to hopefully ram Ansem and the behemoths...

 

'Good enough plan...what if it doesn't work?' Axel asked in Felix's mind.

 

'Well...we might just be screwed buddy...' Felix answered.

Alex got up and shook his head to get he dizziness away. 'This is getting frustrating.' He heard a loud rumbling and saw that Felix was inside the bus. The bus started to trun its wheels. 'Is his head on right?'

'That is Axel for ya.'

'Great, hopefully he doesnt miss, i hope he knows that.'

'He probably knows.'

Chaos everywhere. That was what Rebekah was standing in at the moment. As soon as the Marluxia and Hades hosts had left, two more bad guys had shown up. This went way beyond what Felix had planned. She ran over to Callum to get some answers about Calder.

 

“What are you doing?!” Aqua demanded. “It’s not safe!”

 

You said yourself that Callum isn’t bad, right? Maybe we can help.

 

“How?”

 

I...I don’t know. But you never gave up on Terra, right? There’s got to be something we can do.

 

Before she reached Callum, Rebekah noticed Felix getting into the bus and driving it straight towards...one of the villains and the behemoths. Is he out of his mind?! she thought, then shook her head. That guy is crazy. Though Rebekah would never admit it to herself, Aqua felt that her host was secretly concerned for Felix.

 

Rebekah finally got to Callum. “Are you alright? What happened?” she asked.

Keilani turned and clung to Troy’s arm when Avan appeared. Seriously, Naminé, why does everyone want to kidnap us today? she thought glumly. As the Heartless appeared, she remembered their new-found power and let go of Troy, then summoned her Keyblade, whacking at whatever soldiers were closest to her. Unskilled as she was in combat, a lot of them evaded her attacks, and some even scratched her from the side, but she was able to take out a few. To her surprise, Avan left as quickly as he had come. Wow, these bad guys are just a bunch of cowards, she thought.

 

“Sora!” Naminé said, seemingly out of nowhere.

 

Keilani turned and saw a man wielding Ultima Weapon, and concluded that he must be the one Inhabited by none other than the boy who was destined to awaken all the hearts who waited in sleep...which, in the Inhabiters’ universe, included Ven. Oh...this could get...interesting... She wondered how Ven might react.

The chakram and the fire hit directly at his breastplate at the same time. Sumer fell backwards a few steps. "I don't like people ruining my 1 on 1s." Sumer growled at the person in the bus. He summoned another Dark Firaga and directed it straight at the engine of the bus. "Now where were we?" Sumer said directing his attention back at Riku's host. Sumer summoned his Guardian and rushed straight at him, sword drawn.

"Ha! Fire huh? Well two can play that game!!!" Felix yelled. He then coated the bus in fire, negating the fire attack, and continued his rage driving past Sumer on to the behemoths...those stupid things...he knew he could take them out. Right?

"We were at the part where I defeat you!" James said, charging at him, Keyblade in hand.

 

Seichi looked up after dispatching one of the behemoths. He saw a girl wielding Destiny's Embrace and Sora piped up. "Kairi, is that you!?" he asked.

Naminé felt a pang of sadness and shame as she remembered how she had twisted Sora’s memories to replace Kairi with herself in his mind. Keilani caught on and thought, Hey, why don’t you talk to him? It would be kind of awkward for me being in the middle like this, you know?

“Yeah, that’s probably best,” Naminé replied. She hid her pained feelings with a timid smile. “N-no. It’s me, Naminé—Kairi’s Nobody. You probably don’t remember me,” she said with a half-hearted chuckle. “But it’s good to see you again.”

She remembered the last time she had seen Sora: on Destiny Islands. Sora was about to depart for training to become a Keyblade Master. She had been with Kairi, of course, and most of the time, she would forget that she was even somewhat separate from Kairi. It wasn’t like Inhabiting Keilani, where she was always aware that she was really only half a person, never meant to exist. She wondered what was happening with Kairi back home, and all the others who hadn’t Inhabited someone in this world. Could it be that time was simply frozen there while the Inhabiters were here? Or did Kairi believe that Sora was missing? And, if that was the case, would she try to look for him? This whole Inhabiting thing was strange, and Naminé wished she knew more about exactly how it worked. All she really remembered about how she had gotten here was choosing who she would Inhabit, and even that memory was quite vague to her.

"Oh, sorry Namine!" Sora said. "I saw the Keyblade and thought it was Kairi. And of course I remember you, we met at TWTNW. You helped Kairi, Donald, Goofy, and Mickey escape. Plus there was that note in Jiminey's Journal that I never got a chance to do. Thank you, Namine. I may not remember what for, but I still mean it."

Naminé gasped, and her smile broadened. “You’re welcome,” she replied with a nod. She then got distracted by what was going on around them, and noticed the presence of yet two more familiar Inhabiters who were fighting each other. “Riku!” she shouted.

 

“What? Who is he fighting against?” askedKeilani.

 

It’s Ansem...Xehanort’s Heartless, that is.

 

“Oh, great. I’d like to say we should help him, but we had enough trouble with just the soldiers.”

 

You’re right...I hope he’ll be okay, Naminé thought.

As soon as Rebekah had asked the question, she heard Aqua speaking to her: “We don’t have time for this right now! We need to get those monsters out of here!”

 

Rebekah knew Aqua was right, and she looked at Felix again, who had driven past the man wearing the armor and was still going for the behemoths. The bus was now surrounded by flames. I can't believe he's trying to go through with this... “Hold that thought,” she said to Callum. She would never be able to run ahead of Felix at the speed he was driving, but maybe there was a way to weaken the behemoths from a distance. She gazed at the monsters with the utmost concentration and pointed her Keyblade at them, then leaped into the air and started shooting at them with Prism Rain.

"Riku! Where?" Sora asked. He looked around and said "I don't see him." "That's because he's Inhabiting someone Sora." Seichi said, regaining control. Who? "The guy with the Skull Noise Keyblade." he said, pointing at James.

'Ansem?'

'The heartless of the man that had a nobody as well. Xemnas, the leader of Organization 13.'

'Bet you hate the guy.'

'With all of the soul i have.'

Alex saw Rebekah fire the Prism Rain at the behemoths, to try and weaken them for Felix. He slashed a n unversed that was trying to jump on him. 'If this doesnt end well, my parents are going to ground me.'

'Worry about the imporatant stuff will ya.'

'Trying.'

Callum reached towards Rebekah as she ran away, but she was gone. He sighed, and looked at Tudi. "I'm not gonna fight you." 'Come down,' he told himself. He then gasped, and all the Unversed disappeared. His keyblade disappeared, and he turned his back. "I'm not succumbing to pointless fighting anymore, especially with my allies."

Joy watched as all the Unversed disappeared. "Great, Callum! You're learning to control your powers!"

"BUS POWER!!!" Felix yelled as he got at least a centimeter away from the behemoths.

"Good." Tudi relaxed her stance. "All I wanted was those Unversed out of here. Now that they're gone we can get back to fighting the real enemy!" Tudi said. 'Alright Yuffie, if I recall you could pull off some serious acrobatics.'

'Got that right!'

'Than if you'll help me, I should be able to pull off something really cool right now.' Tudi smiled, leaped onto the roof of the bus, jumped once again into the air, shot three shurikens directly at the behemoth. Tudi landed into a roll, trying to negate as much damage as possible.

Sumer quickly parried away Riku's charge. He followed up with two swift stabs at him. "Nuh uh uh. I won't go down that easily." Sumer said, kicking him away, then following up with a Dark Aura.

Troy had hugged Keilani as she'd grabbed his arm, but when more heartless showed up he had to turn to fighting. He worried about Keilani a little bit, but didn't want to be one of those overbearing boyfriends that acted like their girlfriend couldn't do anything. Wait, was he already thinking of himself as her boyfriend? That was a bit presumptuous. As he/Ven were fighting the heartless and unversed, they soon noticed that the unversed disappeared, a huge relief for them both, as it meant not only that there were less enemies, but also that they wouldn't have to fight Vanitas. Not yet, at least. Troy and Ven listened in on the conversation between Keilani and Seichi, the two of them both curious about what they were saying, but admittedly more Ven than Troy.

 

"I feel like I know his inhabiter, or that I'm connected to him" Ven said, "but I know I've never met him."

 

Troy responded, "I'd say 'join the club' but you kind of founded it." To that Ven was confused, but Troy promised that it would all be explained when Namine could do her thing with his memories. The last thing they saw was a massive, burning bus charging ahead at the Behemoth remaining, with Felix at the helm. "Why am I not surprised?" the two said in unison.

James blocked the stabs and dodged out of the way of the kick. He countered the Dark Aura with his own, clashing with him each and every time.

 

Axel sure is crazy. Sora said. This is the second time he's risking himself just to save others.

Callum looked around, and he sighed. How could he fight when all he felt was anger when he did it? He kicked the ground, and watched as everyone was fighting. Just then, a Behemoth hit him in the back. He turned, and growled. 'No. No.' His vision then went black.

 

Vanitas smiled evilly, his yellow eyes scanning the area. He easily threw his keyblade, and it killed the Behemoth. "Shall I take my leave?" He opened a dark corridor, and prepared to walk through.

'What the?' Alex saw what happened how Callen was knocked out, and how his voice changed to having a dark feeling about it.

'I dont like this.'

'What should we do?'

'Stop him some how?'

'How?'

'I dont know.'

Alex ran up to Vanitas and held his sword out, 'Your not going anywhere.'

Rebekah turned to face Callum when one of the Behemoths was obliterated by his Keyblade, and saw him starting to leave. Then Alex came and pointed his sword at Callum. What? she thought as she ran in his direction.

 

“Be careful, Rebekah!” warned Aqua. “Vanitas is controlling him completely right now. Just be on your guard.”

 

“Callum!” she said as she reached the two boys. She was startled to see his eyes had turned yellow, like his Inhabiter's. “Callum, fight it!” She hoped that Alex wouldn't hurt him.

After Sora turned to see Riku, Keilani was tackled by a Heartless from behind, and she cried out as she fell forward. Before it could do any real damage to her, she managed to get back on her hands and knees and throw it off of her. She then slashed at it, and it was gone. “Hey, Troy,” she said breathlessly, smiling and turning to face him while remaining wary of any more Heartless that might jump at her. “Once we're done here, I'll still be expecting that date.” She wasn't recovered from the emotional trauma she had received from being captured and the threats on the lives of Troy and the others (including Calder, who actually had been killed), but she felt a need to hide it behind a positive attitude. “Maybe it'll be best to avoid coffee shops, though.” Another Heartless came at her and she tried to hit it, but it jumped out of the path of her Keyblade.

Tudi recovered quickly from her stunt only to see Callum leaving. "Hey! You can stay now that those Unversed are gone!' Tudi called out to him while running towards him. Eventually she saw Alex confronting him, and Rebekah trying to support him.

 

As Sumer came out of the attack, he congratulated Riku. "It is difficult to synchronize your blows with somebody else. However, it'll be your last compliment. Ever." Sumer teleported behind him and the Guardian grabbed him. As the Guardian began to strangle him, Sumer began to laugh. "Die you pathetic wretch of a boy! You were never a suitable host!" Ansem came out and said.

James turned around just as the guardian grabbed for him. He rolled out of the way just in time and let loose a thundaga from his hand. "I won't die that easily." he said.
