(Although it was never specified in FF: Incarcerated, this RP takes place in NYC. For me, at least. I'll probably leave anyway.)

Callum turned off the TV and looked at his clock. It was 2:00 A.M. He couldn't sleep ever since he learned a powerful game villain was inside him. Vanitas. Ever since Vanitas possessed him (If he did, maybe he was in there since birth, so gained influence) Callum had been a jerk. He didn't have any friends now. I hate you, Vanitas! He heard a scoff. Really? Do you? Callum summoned his keyblade. "I won't let this take me over. Vanitas, you won't win." His void gear looked ominous. Too ominous.

Even though this guy seemed like a total psycho, his words still cut into Mariah, but she didn't allow herself to outwardly express her pain. “I know what I've done, and I'm not proud of it,” she said evenly. “But how does that have anything to do with me having to come with you?! What could I possibly offer you? Besides, Joy can take you on easily.” She tried to kick Avan again.

Avan dodge her attack again. "You broke a many hearts, and what I need is the help of someone who can fix a wrong, espically in the heart. Now heres a deal for you, you come with me and I will make it to where you can never break another heart, or you dont come with me and I will kill Joy, which his name would then have to be Pain. You cant have Joy without Pain now can ya?" Avan asked Meriah. It was very easy that anyone could tell that Avan was doing all of this with the evil in his heart instead of Xehanort's.

"Alright, I guess helping with the healing is a better waste of my time than just standing here." Tudi said, grinning. "Anybody besides Keilani get hurt?" Tudi asked.

Aerith grinned. To be with some of her favorite people, Cloud, Zack, and Tifa, again. Of course with this advent of course, she would have to choose between Cloud and Zack finally. She never had to before because, either Zack was dead, or she was dead. Both Cloud and Zack were around at the same time. 'You're dragging me into this you realize. I never knew either of these people.' Aerith took no notice of Elie's comment. "Alright. Giddy up chocobo!"

Mariah jumped forward and flipped over Avan's head, reaching out to punch him in the face. “You're not making any sense! How can you make me fix a heart when breaking them is all I seem to do?!” she shouted bitterly.

Avan just ducked down and dodged the attack. "You have no clue of your true power, do you? You break hearts because your heart is broken. But I need you to come with me if you want to restore that heart of yours. I need a person with true protential who can help fix the heart that is the most broken heart in the universe. You might see me as evil, and mad, but I am actually looking for a way to help someone that I care about the most, and only you can help me with this. So if you dont help me fix this heart, then I have to return the favor, by killing Joy." Avan said. He then made the creature and keyblade disappear and sat down on the floor with tears rolling down his face.

Mariah was so shocked by Avan's instant mood swing that she just stood there, unable to say anything for a moment. She finally spoke, quietly but but not tenderly. “Who is it that you're trying to help?” His threats against Joy didn't faze her in the least—he would have to go through her first.

"Well two years back, when all this inhabitor thing started to happen, I was having a fight with my love. We were aruging and then she left my house. Two days later, I found her being attacked by some creep who was inhabited and so I tried to stop him, but he killed her right in front of me. After that, he was arrested and I began hearing voices in my head. I took her body and ever since I been trying to find a way to restore her, and try and find the dude who killed her so I can have my revenge. I scared many people and made the media revove around a story I caused to find the man who killed her." Avan said with more and more tears coming out of him.

Avan dodge the attacks again. "My word, you dont get it do you? I trained for 5 years just dodging an attack, I dont think you will be able to hurt me. Now Mariah, I hate to be a pain, like a dad, but you are coming with me now or else, I will kill Joy." Avan made out a weird laugh and summoned Dark Symbiote, which went straight towards James.

Cloud continued on. "Wait. I think I can pick up their trail. But...there's someone else along with James and Mariah. Aerith, I...Never mind. If we come back, I can tell you. Joy, you take over again." 'Alright.' Joy was used to the sensation of coming back now, so it didn't faze him in the least. He saw three figures in the distance, and looked back at Aerith. "You don't mind taking a detour, do ya?" He then saw Mariah, James and a man. And there were fighting. "Aerith! Take the Chocobo!" He pulled his Buster Sword off of his back, and jumped in between the man and Mariah. He blocked with his sword so Mariah wouldn't get hit.

James dodged the Guardian by flying up into the air. He fired several balls of darkness at him. Then he saw Joy and just lost it. "YOU!" he roared, flying toward him, as if to attack. James, stop! Riku said. It's no use, boy. an all too familiar voice said.

(OOC: Dang it. Time's basically stopped at the other location because no one there is posting really, except for Yuffie. I really wish I had another character who could be there in the middle of mess right now.)

“James, wait! What's gotten into you?!” Mariah shouted. She got in front of Joy to defend him, looking straight at James's face. What she saw there terrified her.

Aerith took over for Cloud after he jumped off the chocobo. She reined in the chocobo to a halt. 'You know Elie? I've had control for long enough, you can continue.' 'But now I actually need you for fighting!' Aerith took no hence to Elie's plea. Elie jumped off the chocobo and took out her staff. She hadn't done much fighting, and she knew that Aerith had been much more of a magic kind of person. Elie stood by and watched as the fight raged on, not knowing what to do.

 

(If somebody could control my characters for a little bit, that would please me. I am leaving for a little bit.)

James had a familiar look on his face that hadn't been seen for the last two years, an evil sneer. "You won't stop me this time, Tifa." he said. He slashed at them with One-Winged Angel, flames coming from the Keyblade, that he was now holding in his left hand.

The color drained from Mariah’s face. “No...” She turned and pushed Joy to the ground so he wouldn’t get hit, then dodged James’s attack.

 

Tifa took over at that moment. “Bastard! You never die, do you?!” She swung her arm to punch him.

"What is taking him so long?" Aria said getting bored. Just then Big Man arrived in a small mini bus, that could fit the whole group inside it. "Well there he is. Okay now guys, try not to ruin this bus, we are still making payments on it." Noel said and got inside the bus with the Arias.

He caught her fist and said "As long as James is alive and there is darkness in his heart, I will always come back. Really, you should thank Mariah. It's because of her that I was able to come back, after all." It was their worst nightmare. Sephiroth was back.

“Leave her out of this!” Tifa spat. She kicked at Sephiroth while trying to jerk her fist away.

Felix smiled as the vehicle showed up and Troy was finishing with his cure spell, healing him. "Alright! We can finally get this show on the road!" called out Felix.

"Yeah, but where should we go?" asked Troy. He didn't know what to do next, really. He'd been so consumed with finding and saving Keilani that his view on the future totally fell out of wack. Instinctively, Troy reached for Keilani's hand.

"Ehh, haven't thought that far yet. Back to Mariah's house, I guess, to rest up and train for the next battle. Either that or we can get involved in the massive fight I'm sensing out in the woods. That's if you all feel up to it, that is. I don't understand everything that's happening out there, but it looks like Final Fantasy VII is well represented."

He let go of her fist and grabbed her leg. "This is an interesting weapon." he said, looking over the Keyblade. "It's similar to my sword, but different too. The word Keyblade comes to mind, very interesting." He slashed at her with One-Winged Angel.

 

James opened his eyes and stood up, looking around. He saw he was on a platform that had him on it, as well as Riku, Sephiroth, and Mariah. "Where am I?" he said. Riku appeared and walked over to him. "This is your heart. We're in what's known as a Dive Into the Heart." "What happened?" James asked. "You gave into the darkness and I came back." Sephiroth said, appearing across from them wielding his Masamune. Riku summoned Skull Noise and James summoned One-Winged Angel. "You!" James said. "I thought I was rid of you!" "As long as you have darkness in your heart, I will always come back." Sephiroth said.

(Avan sent a group of heartless out with Xehanort's power and they are headed towards James.)

Final Fantasy VII? That doesn’t include Mariah, right? Rebekah asked Aqua.

 

“I can’t sense her Inhabiter nearby, which I should have been able to if she was still in her apartment building. So yes, it might include her.”

 

She gasped. The idea of Mariah fighting in her condition scared Rebekah. “I’m all for that fight!” she announced fiercely. “We’ve got to help our friends! And I’ll go with or without you all.”

Keilani took Troy’s hand, wondering what he would decide. Either way, she would feel kind of useless, and she hoped she wouldn’t be a burden to everyone else.

Aria J sat down and looked over at Aria and Noel. "Guys, I fell that Paul is near, but has been taken over at the moment by Zack. I think if we go to that fight, we might find Paul, which also means we might find Victoria as well." Aria J said. "Sure, we can go there. Hey Big Man, go to that fight." Noel said.

(I think what Not-with-a-whimper is confused about is Avan's split-second change of heart. His own heart alone was described as completely evil, even without MX's influence, and then he very suddenly takes a 180 and is on the side of the good guys? LOL it's a little disconcerting.)

 

 

Tifa bent backward to avoid Sephiroth’s attack, but as he was still gripping her leg, her range of motion was limited, and he managed to slash her across the collarbone. She gasped in pain, then jumped up with her other leg to kick his face.

(Oh, well I gave you guys a hint. He likes to trick people, which he is trying to do at the very moment.)

(Who is Big Man? If he doesn't have a CS, he doesn't exist, unless it's a nickname for an already existing character.)

 

Sephiroth let go of her leg and jumped back as the Heartless tried to attack him at the same time she did. "Come on Tifa, is that all you've got? You were stronger the last time we fought." Sephiroth said.

 

"What do we do Riku?" James asked. "We fight him to try and get control of your body again." Riku said. "Otherwise, he may kill Mariah." "Why should I care?" James asked. "She doesn't love me, she loves Joy." "That's right James, the woman you love doesn't love you back." Sephiroth said. "The only reason she was with you was because she thought Joy was dead. Once she found out he was alive, she forgot about you and went to him."
