Bronies is the nickname for the members of the fandom, because MLP:FIM for some reason gained a bigger fanbase among teenage to older men than it did young little girls who were the original target audience. Sometimes though girls in the fandom prefer to be referred to as pegasisters from what I hear?

a brony is a true fan of the show, Not one that just watches it with their daughters and such.

 

I'm 15, and I love this show to death. I highly suggest watching the first 2. (yes, both. they are 2 parter.)

 

I know many ppl that love this that are in college. Equestriadaily.com has over 1,000,000 views, and it's all for adults and teens.

 

Fan made songs come from it, I have friends that are musicians who almost only make pony music.

 

Fanfic's that come from this show are better than any book I've ever read. (and better than the KH storyline)

 

Google search: Fallout Equestria. It is over 2000 pages long, but it was worth it. It has it's place as the best story I've ever read.

 

So much art spawns from the show, fan made videos, and more endless stuff. It's the best fandom in the world. And everyone welcomes you in.
