Based on the book " Darkside" Writted by Tom Becker!

 

London, a city most people are familiar with, the great fountains and old buildings. This depiction of London is innocent and beautiful, but sadly untrue. There is a much darker part of London that people like you or me don't know exists. Its a place called Darkside where all the biggest criminals and monsters of the world were banished long ago. Now the ancestors of those criminals are occupying Darkside, stuck in the past of cobblestone streets and horse drawn carriages, a place where Jack the Ripper's grandson is ruler. Darkside is an evil place where mercy is unheard of, to survive you must be a reason for people to stay out of your way, or be an ally to one.

 

Your Story: In this rp you can either be a lightsider: One who lives in the London we all know, or a Darksider: a relative of a famous criminal living in Darkside. Tom Ripper, jack the ripper's grandson, is plotting to take over lightside. Wether you are a darksider or lightsider the choice to join or fight him is yours, but you must be warned Tom Ripper is not a man to underestimate.

1. No godmodding, if your in a fight, your most likely going to get injured.

2. Posts must be ATLEAST 3 lines long i will be inforcing this rule!!!!

Bio: Ada has lived in Darkside all her life and is the grand daughter of Alphonse Capone. She has always been in some sort of trouble with the Ripper family. She is constantly on the run, when she caught word of Tom's plan she made it her goal to, what she refers to as, discouraging him in every opportunity possible. She has a dark cold heart but her intentions to try and help save the lightside are true.

Darksider or Lightsider: Darksider

" Down with the Ripper!"

Stray was walking throw down town London and slight breeze had picked up.She shivered slightly but kept walking to the police station. She had to warn the police about Tom Ripper. For some reason the Darksiders seemed to be coming to the lightsider more and more. Not only that but the rate of missing people and muders were going up. That could only mean one thing and that thing was for the lightside to be taken over byhim and that was somehow the only thing she could that he would want and that was somthing she just couldn't let happen. With this in mind Stray kept walking to the police staion. Sunddenly the wind comply stopped. Not good. Stray thought to herself and looked around; she could feel someone watching her.

Robert sighed. Tom Ripper was moving on with his plan. He had some surprises in store about the Lightside, but Ripper was smart. He would adapt.

Robert had already made some plays into the Lightside and now had quite a few business interests there.

"And you just had to be the maglomanical type, eh, Ripper?" Robert asked, though he sat alone in his own study.

He sighed again.

"Looks like I have but one good choice before me."

Tom walked up the steps to the police department taking long peroseful strides but at the same time seemed completely comfortable almost bored. He ignored the curious glances from the police men outside the building. It was the chief he needed to see. Tom entered as if he owned the place and made his way to the Cheif's office. He finally convinced himself it would be wise to leave before the letter was opened, so he slipped into the office while it was empty and set the coal black envilope with the blood red seal on the desk. He took one last glance around the walked out. Tom looked up at the sky sheilding his eyes slightly not used to the light, it was always cloudy and dark in darkside, as if even the weather dispised the place. This might be a good time to look around my new home. He thought amused as he strolled down the streets.

 

Ada glanced back seeing a girl attacking the men. She stopped for half a second, then deciding it was impossible for this girl to be up to any good, took off again running into the nearestweapons store she could find, which happened to be very common in this area. Ada caught her breath and looked around the store, she was glad that she hadn't kept her money in her jacket so she could replace her lost dagger. Her mind wandered back ot the girl fighting off the Ripper's men, she probably had no idea what she was getting herself into. Ada for the first time in her life was struck with guilt, she quickly bought a new dagger and ran back out stabbing one of the men in the leg causing his to fall and grab his leg graoning in pain. " What were you thinking?" She finally asked the girl.

"I know odds and if I had already killed one of them, you had stopped and helped me we would have won." Anna said nonchalantly stabbing her cutlass down in the two men putting them out of their misery. "Besides its not like Ripper's men are the brightest stars in the sky." She continued. "The Ripper already knows about me and if you were being chased he probably doesn't like you very much either. Not like we were getting on his bad side. Now let's not dwell on past 'mistakes' and move forward." Anna finished, walking off down the street.

Stray shook her bad vibe off and went one her way to the police station. Whatever that feeling was it was gone now... for the time being anyway, but as quickly as it left it came back. So Stray stopped in her tracks and took a quick glance around. Then she found that there was a tenseness about the air and that it felt thick and now that she got closer to the police station she was that some of the people around the area seemed spooked. She walked up the starecase of the building and walked in as she did so she noticed that the were cops everywhere. Stange to see them so... everywhere. She thought to herself. She then sliped back out the entence. Stray let out a sigh as walked away from the station. "I need some tea." She wispered and shook her head.

Hours had been strolling the streets picking up new information as he talked to his vast amount of sources. He then saw someone who really comes to the Lightside, it was The Ripper himself. Hours only met the man a few times, mostly to give him new info. He walks up to Ripper as if he was his best friend. "Well, fancy meeting you here in the Lightside Mr.Ripper, sir." He makes a small laugh to himself and then says, "So, I see you arriving here must be big, you want to share with me on what you're doing, and perhaps I could help, for a fee of course. Best information across the Sides." He makes another burst of laughter.

Midnight glared at the girl as she killed the two men that was after the fleeing girl. 'That girl just killed my entertainment.' She thought. She wondered if she could kill her for doing that. She took out her sniper rifle that was strapped to her back and pointed it at her, her finger a few millimeters away from the trigger. Just when she was about to shoot, A thought came into her mind. 'I should meet up with Tom. To see if he has any assassination assignment for me.' Midnight was one of Tom Ripper's person assassin. She wasn't the best, but close. She put her sniper away and headed toward the Lightside.

Tom sighed annoyed at how quickly he was found. " What do you want Hours? I'm trying to enjoy myself." He asked, already knowing he would probably end up killing the guy anyway, He interupted my stroll. Tom thought bitterly shoving his hands into his pockets not bothering to look at his new companion. " I do have work to get to, I don't have time to humor people like you." Tom always spoke with a calm cold voice that seemed to lack emotion completely, some say thats part of what makes him so dangerous, you can't tell when he is angry.

 

Ada looking down at the two men and back at the girl. Well I'm not touching them. She thought with slight disgust before turning and walking her own way. She kept her head low as she walked down the streets of darkside her mind wondering back to why the guard had chased her so far. She considered going back to check it out but decided against it, she had enough fun for a while. Maybe someone else knows what is going on.... She thought trying to think of anyone she knew that might have heard of something going on at the Ripper's estate.

"Sorry for troubling you Mr. Ripper. I just thought you could use my info on the latest happenings in the Lightside." He made another giggle. "Well, I'll let you be on your way. Also, guess who I say earlier today? You don't have to guess, I'll tell you, for free of course. It was the Capone kid, running away from a couple of men." As Hours finishes what he's saying, he lets out another burst of laughter. "I'll leave you to your stroll Mr.Ripper. You know my number if you need anymore info." He walks in a different direction and casually skips as he continues his journey around the town, digging up juicy information.

Robert walked through the Darkside streets, considering his plans. The first step was to get allies. There was strength in numbers. People from the Lightside was his best bet, though contacting them might cause problems. First, he needed to find people on the Darkside he could work with.

He knew of several Darksiders around town who would gladly go after Ripper for their own reasons. The best prospect was Ada Capone. Anna Cunningham could be useful, but she might lack the kind of focus and control Robert would need.

"Either way" he thought to himself, "I'll begin my recruitment with them."

(I just realized those two had guns. I feel really stupid right now)

 

Anna walked the streets of the Darkside, with no particular reason in mind. "Maybe some lunch would be in order." She muttered to herself. Off she went to the Shell Cafe, pretty much the only place on the Darkside that was clean. It was also Somrene's favorite. "Hey, Joe. Could I have the usual?" She yelled over to Joe, the bartender. "No problem Anna." He said as he continued to juggle orders and dishes. Anna sat down on her favorite stool. No one sat next to her as usual. That spot was the memorial spot, where Somrene used to sit. If anyone ever sat there while Anna was around, they were dead before their usual drunk mouths could either flirt or order another drink. Anna was sighing as she ate her shrimp cocktail.

Tom stopped and watched Hours leave. " Capone? How interesting.... Well I guess my time here was just about up anyways." He sighed and made his way to the Ripper family's private crossing from dark to light side. He stepped inot his mansion and glanced around quickly being alerted of a spy that had been discovered. " Yes, yes I know. I'll let it slide for now." The Ripper's servants exchanged bervous glances knowing nobody ever got away with disturbing the Ripper house hold. They bowed and scurried off down the hallway speaking in hushed whispers as they went.

 

Ada stopped by the private detective's office wondering if he would know anything, but with his reputation of sometimes eating his clients Ada decided not to find out. She kept walking passed the werewolve's office shuddering a little at the thought. And people think I'm scary. She mused smirking a little, as she shoved her hands into her pockets not needing to look up for everyone always stepped out of her way while on the streets of Darkside, execpt for the Rippers, the Capone family was one of the most dangerous and most people knew to stay away. So she was shocked when she bumped into someone. She looked up seeing a slightly familiar face, " Oh its you, watch it will you Robert?"

Robert smiled at Ada and held up a hand with pickpocketed money in it. He handed it to Ada.

"I have to keep in practice, my dear." he said, pleasently, flexing his agile fingers.

He stepped back his face, though still smiling and pleasent, took a slight serious edge.

"Cutting to the chase, Ripper has to go. Shall we talk business?"

Tom Ripper twirled a coin between his fingers casting Ms. Capone from his mind and focusing on his plan. Ifhe was correct the letter would have reached the captain by now and the police station would have their hands busy chasing a goose. He smirked then whispered something into a nearby guard's ear. The man nodded and walked out of the room in a rather speedy fashion. The Ripper household sent out a message to all loyal Ripper followers and fighters to meet at the estate tonight. " Time to get the party started." He chuckled to himself.

 

Ada scowled and snatched her money back from Robert. She glanced around macking sure nobody had heard what he said. " You can't go saying things like that around here." She hissed grabbing his coat and dragging him into the nearest store. She sat down at a small table and pulled out a small block of wood and lightly shaved away at it with her dagger. " Now we can talk." She said waving him to the seat across from her with her knife.

(Oh well it's not anything bad.)

Robert took the offered seat and sat.

"Don't be too worried about that Ripper hears." he said to Ada. "He's not the only one with resourses."

He leaned back in his chair to get comfortable.

"Now, knowing you, Miss Capone, I very much doubt you suport Tom Ripper's plan to take over the Lightside." he said, thought in a lower tone in defference to Ada's caution. "This also does not fit into my plans. I wish to stop it. There are plenty of ways to acomplish this. If you are willing, I would like to work with you on this."

Midnight was looking for Tom Ripper when a man walked up to her and told her to meet Tom Ripper with his other followers at the estate tonight. Midnight smirked. 'So it's finally started.' She thought. The man left and Midnight looked at the dull sky, 'Hmmm, what to do until it's time...'

 

Yuri finally finished her painting and smiled at her work. It came out exactly as she wanted.
