April 14, 201213 yr tutti frutti. I had always thought that Namine erased Sephiroths memory along with a number of people that had ties with Sora. Or at the ver least altered their memory to some degree. I could be wrong about this part since I haven't played CoM in forever, but I vaguely remember Namine mentioning that she wouldn't be able to reach all of the memories inside of Sora and completely repair his memories, which I have always believed was the reason why Sora, Donald, Goofy and Jiminy didn't remember the black cloaks from KH1FM (Xemnas) when they encountered the remaining members of Org. April 14, 201213 yr Sephiroth's too great to bother remembering that poor little brunette boy that he slaughtered thousands of times before the little brunette boy got lucky. Love Sora, but there is no one here who can honestly say they fought Sephiroth and beat him on the first try.

April 14, 201213 yr Well why didn't Sora forget Leon, Cloud etc.? tutti frutti. They did have a bigger impact on Sora and Co. than Sephiroth did in KH1. Plus, I doubt that the fight was canon to the series in any major way.

April 14, 201213 yr I think that in KH1 you fight Sephiroth in the coliseum. You never meet him outside the arena. In KH2 he takes part in the Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden main story. You get to see him and know him. Sephiroth is sopposed to fight many in the coliseum. It isn't possible to remeber everyone he fights. Also Sora then was young and had the Red clothes. When Sephi meets him he is older and wears other clothes. So Sora may reminded him of smth but he didn't bother about who is he and etc
