Oh, what have I gotten myself into now? So about a month ago, I volunteered for something called Battle of the Books. It is pretty much reading a whole bunch of books then answering some yes or no questions about them. There was a list of books about 30 books long, and they would split all of them amongst the volunteers. At the time about 10 people were interested. So after a few weeks, the same person who'd asked us previously, asked if there was anybody who was definitely interested. Me and one other boy raised our hands. So now, I have to read 15 books in two months. We are so going to lose this competition....

I'm in it two and I had to read about 15 boooks and one more person went with me to completion and we got third place. Two people and we did a great job.

I feel so bad for you. I could probably read all of those books in a week or so. /iscompletelyserious

 

And now I wish I could help you read as fast as me. I'm pretty useless, huh?

i read surviving the applewhites, when i was in battle of the books in middle school. i don't remember it too well, but i remember that i really enjoyed it! I remember that it was the only book, out of the books I WAS SUPPOSED to read that they asked me about. i got the question right and everyone on my team loved me! ahhhh, i miss middle school....

I'm in the Battle of the Books team at my school, and all of us have to read all of the books. We don't divvy it up. Which probably helps because there are more kids who know the answers.

From the books I've read off of that list, they're good books. Don't be upset over it. (;

I only read The Pigman.
