[Spoiler] Looking for Nomura's changes of mind and plot twists

Posted

So, similar to what the guy on the topic below said, "nomura hadnt planned any of this from the beginning".

http://kh13.com/forum/topic/33576-possible-spoilers-ansem-facial-structure/

Sometimes things don't fit perfectly, because what would be the plot was not 100% done, there were most ideas to be modeled.

So, let's try to think about points in the series that seem like a changed from first concepts or acts that would alow the creators to manipulate the plot with more freedom and plot twists that changed what we were thinking :D

I'll start listing some:

>Nomura made "young Xehanort" look like Terra a little, so that new Xehanort forms apearence wouldn't have to be always Terra related.

>Nobodies' original human appearence. I guess that by CoM and KH2, it was commom sense that nobodies wouldn't look 100% like their original humans. Roxas appearence reminds Sora, Naminé's Kairi and Xemnas to "Tehanort" painting.

Later we saw that only special nobodies didn't look exactly the human form, Roxas hair was even changed in texture in FM+ to look more like Vens' hair if I am not mistaken.

>People look alike and it's just coincidence: Ventus and Sora.

>Time travel: the ultimate plot hole maker.

Time travel IS the ultimate plot hole maker!!!! I have never seen it done properly. When I first heard theories about this speculating around (a loooooong time, when BBS first came out) I cringed at the thought and believed that Nomura was better than that... but then I was mistaken... And I am still very upset about it.

>One concept that seem to change as the series went on: In KH1, Disney Villains actually had a point... and now I feel like they're just there, to be there.

>The concept of who can wield a keyblade and who can't seem to have change. (Point being Axel.)

Relating to the Keyblade thing

> In KhI it was implied that only those with "strong hearts" could weild keyblades and only the person with "the strongest heart" could weild the keyblade . . . and Mickey, cos he's Mickey.

> In KHII Roxas originally had a data keyblade that then turned into a regular keyblade (for no apparent reason) then later he could summon Xions due to his memories being restored. Riku got his keyblade (was it from the dark realm?), Riku gave Kairi a keyblade from no where in particular . . .

> In BBS you only need to perform a ritual where you touch someones keyblade to be able to weild a keyblade. . . Ventus, Aqua, Terra, MX, Eraqus, Vanitas given keyblades

> In 3D Lea gets a keyblade. The only explaination I can have for this is that Axel touched Roxas' keyblade . . .

and Lea is awesome. Oh, and all of the Norts would also have one just cos they have a tiny amount of MX's heart in them. Maybe all the Organisation members can be keyblade weilders since all of them were trialed as vessels?

It's not b/c he's just mickey, it's b/c he's the product of disney and if he didn't get to use an awesome keyblade disney would have a fit :P

When I saw the time traveling stuff being explained by YMX I was totally.... mad and disappointed with Nomura. I really didn't expect time travel to exist in the series at all. -.-

oh posh, keyblades are sooo old hat. EVERYONE carries one of those things nowadays. *guffaws* Seriously, though, it is getting out of hand.

Funny how some forum friends were like "these keyblades on the graveyard are not real ones because they lack of keychain" about the secret ending by the time of Kingdom Hearts 2. Now with a thousand of keyblade users and the tales about the War it's rather normal to see a new weilder in the series.
