Posted April 21, 201213 yr What's the significance of the opening of KH 3D, particularly the last minute of the opening? Thanks, and feel free to leave your thoughts here
April 21, 201213 yr The openings of KH games almost never have any significance, other than to look pretty or possibly recap events in previous games. Try to avoid looking too deeply into them. Edited April 21, 201213 yr by baylaust
April 21, 201213 yr Everyone seems to think just because 7 Keyblade Wielders all dropped at the same time, they are the 7 Guardians of Light. I disagree though. Nomura wouldn't put it right in our faces. He's a secretive bunch.
April 21, 201213 yr Foreshadowing. Thats it. -__- Everyone seems to think just because 7 Keyblade Wielders all dropped at the same time, they are the 7 Guardians of Light. I disagree though. Nomura wouldn't put it right in our faces. He's a secretive bunch. And also, why would he spoil the plot of KH3D in the intro? Makes absolutely no sense why anyone would think they are the 7 Lights -____- Edited April 21, 201213 yr by atheist123
April 21, 201213 yr Author I agree with the foreshadowing But, with the foreshadowing, it could be beyond that game Edited April 21, 201213 yr by esumsoraroxas
April 21, 201213 yr Well, it is more symbolic than anything, I think. The books represent Terra, Aqua, Ven and Roxas' stories. But the fact they disappear in the end into pages puzzles me. Maybe, they are the ones that the Data only talks about, maybe they are the ones that need to be saved, maybe they are the ones that will help Sora become a master in the end. Either way, all of them, if not more, will fight against Xehanort.

Because all of them had story lines before.
April 21, 201213 yr The last scene seems to show the future, but if you look carefully, you see that Xehanort exactly do the same as in the BbS opening/ in the BbS game ...

April 21, 201213 yr I'm pretty sure it's not cannon, Roxas appears and the game pretty much confirms he aint coming back. I think it was more shock value for the fans, but honestly while watching it the only thing I could think about was how cheesy it was. I mean, what the heck was sora doing, praying?
April 21, 201213 yr Nomura has stated that the KH3D opening is what is to come in KH3. No source, no screen shot, nothing. I call bs! :[ Edited April 21, 201213 yr by Sky Heart

That's a good interpretation Perhaps memories are involved as well Come to think of it, we actually played all those characters before. Their stories come together and they awaken. Xehanort connects them all together and, together, they prepare to fight against him.

April 21, 201213 yr Im sorry but im not going to spend my time looking through every interview to find that tidbit that he mentions. If you dont belive me thats fine but others have mentioned on this site the same thing Im not just making it up. And if you think it is bs explain to me this, if the screen shots were rememberable scenes from past games what game is it when Sora, Riku, Roxas, Ventus, Aqua, Terra, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all come together and prepare for a fight? I mean its pretty clear to me thats not just for effect for an opening. If you think im wrong about what I just stated then prove it that it wont happen and that it isnt going to happen in KH3. April 21, 201213 yr Author Thanks You're welcome I think those scenes that you described suggest events that might occur in KH3
