sora never cared about the master rank in first place to go out training for it

he can go and fight xehanort on his own if he want to........

who knows......maybe he will back with all of them in the beginning of KH3....and they can explain the saving process in a prequel later that takes place before KH3

Welcome to the site, and I totally never thought of that, but it makes lots of sense.

I think he left because he wants to go on his own journey and mature a little bit. As a poster previously said, if Sora fought Xehanort now, he would be whipped and Sora, dsepite his happy go lucky nature knows this, so he went to get stronger, wiser, and better.

Tbh, the only thing thats stopping him is his darkness in his heart (being extra strong due to all the hearts combined into one), he needs to control the darkness inside of him. so yeah, if sora went to fight xehanort, he'd lose, but not cause of strength or wisdom or anything, its just xehanort can easily piss him off like terra, even more so (as seen in DDD) now that he has ven, roxas and xions memorys. and once xehanort pisses him off/provoke his darkness etc, xehanort could easily control the darkness within him, and he'd become a vessel just like terra.

dude......I said if he wanted to I never said for sure......and about the mature thing......I don't think Sora will be the same forever.....I'm sure he will change since he will travel alone this time.....maybe something tragic would happen to him.......y'know...like xehanort turns his parents into heartless(just an example)

actually.....It's not only his darkness.....SPOILER ALERT......if you listened to XigbarBraig & young xehanort.....you'll know that master xehanort & his new orgXIII was observing sora all the time.......and that sora was supposed to go back to yen sid's tower but they drag him to the world that never was..........also .....the X on sora's clothes was not yen sid's doing.....It' a mark that xehanort put on sora form the begining of his exam.....young xehanort called it the mark of heresy and after sora defeated xemnas....he droped like before but he couldn't awake like before because he dived deep inside the realm of sleep...xehanort used this chance to increase the darkness inside sora and drag him deeply into it

if sora was without darkness, he wouldn't be a target for xehanort, we already know he gets saved, i was saying his journy wasn't to mature or anything rather his journey is like rikus, to master/conquer the darkness within him. The fact that xehanort targeted him after his first two targets (riku and roxas) was because xehanort, noticed his darkness, and also noticed his weakness (he cares TOO much, and he lets everyones feelings be his feelings), thats why xehanort, targeted him.

Man we got some sora haters on here! all cause hes not a quiet badboy like riku, or a cocky sarcastic dude like Lea doesn't mean he sucks! Let ME run up on xehanort as sora, press triangle hit a reaction command and BAM hes dead! haha im just playin but i got love for sora and hes going to pull through and be the one to defeat xehanort, using his friends as his power. i hope he doesnt mature, besides building a darkness tolerance, but i dont want him acting like riku. and i also hope the last battle you fight in kh3 is as sora donald and goofy. the original trio!
