At $350.

They put the price at $250 for the Wii when it launched, and they did sell the Wii for $250. Will the same happen this time? Will the price go up or down?

It's a reasonable price for me. Not TOO expensive and not TOO cheap. The PS3 was like $400-$600 at launch day I think.

Not bad, I would price it at $300 though. It would sell more.

I'll buy it when it reaches 180, like I did with the Wii.

Hahaha no. There's no way I'm buying it at launch for that much. I'll be smart and wait, like I did the 3DS.

Pretty sure that's just a placeholder. If Nintendo didn't announce it, it's probably not real.

Nintendo said they wouldn't even be announcing the price at E3 for the Wii U so this can't be the actual price more of a placeholder I guess.

I'll wait to see the launch line up as we don't even know what the games are going to be yet so I'm not jumping to conclusions yet to see what is worth my money and what isn't.

That's all well and good except that that number has clearly been pulled out of Wal Mart's collective asses.

Agreed to basically all of the above. I jumped on this thread just to find that you all had already taken care of the commentary.

It seems a reasonable price, though a bit more expensive than the $300 every seems to be hoping for. I would take it with a grain of salt though, as so far Nintendo doesn't even seem sure what they will be pricing it.

$350 is perfect.

Nintendo have not yet announced the price. So this is probably just a place holder cost for North America.

I also agree with it being the Placeholder. But, why would they advertise the price 7 months early in the first place...
