The Sword in the Stone: The Next King? RP

Posted

No time for an actual post right now, but somebody else can start it. And let me get this straight, there is No Killing. Not yet at least. If we get more characters along the way, than I might decide to implement a way for killing, but until then, everybody stays alive.

"No, I actually just got back, I came back into town so I could get some rest after a long mission. I live out in this village and protect it when need be, then when camelot calls for me I'll defend her too" Zander said

Archie nodded.

"Okay. Unless something big happens, you should be good here." He said.

He paused a moment, looking a little worried.

"How was Camlot, when you last saw it?"

"It was actually looking good and stable. Its almost like the old days there." Zander said noticing Chantal was quiet. "How would you two like to have dinner at my place, just to say hey to my new acquaintances?" Zander asked

Alex internally sighed. This conversation was mundane though the fact that camelot was doing okay was nice to know. She glanced over at the bird who had changed to a person and was now fighting a small group of soldiers. She noticed that one of the soldiers was about to sneak up behind the person, whom she assumed was a wizard by his use of magic. Quick as a flash, she drew her bow and shot the soldier right in the heart.

'People who don't play fair really annoy me.'

Maloran saw a solder behind him get struck by an arrow and turned towards the person who shot it. "Thanks, now if it isn't to much trouble.....COULD YOU GIVE ME A HAND?!" called Maloran as he struck down another soldier.

Alex quickly and slightly leaped to a different branch in order to give herself a better angle. Without delay, she grabbed three of her arrows and drew them all at the same time. She let go of the string, letting the arrows soar towards their targets, each one hitting a soldier right in the heart, killing them in no time flat.

'I'll leave the last one to him.'

Maloran was swinging his staff at the last soldier and hit the guy in the head a couple of times. "Have a nice flight!" said Maloran as he surrounded his staff with energy, hit the soldier and sent him flying. "If that guy's smart, he won't come back." he said. Maloran then turned to the archer who helped him. "Thanks for the help, the name's Maloran."

Alex cringed at the pun as she watched the soldier fly off into the distance.

She put her bow away and then slid off the branch.

"I'm Alex."

Maloran bowed slightly, as he was a man of honor. "Not to fight and run, but i sugest we run, before more of those guys show up....i really don't feel like fighting an army, even though only fighting 10 of those guys is an off day for me." said Maloran. "You coming or what?"

Archie bowed slightly.

"I would be honored to join you for a meal." He said politely. "Thank you."

Alex debated for a short while before deciding that if she conversed with this person some information about the merlin faction might slip from his mouth.

"Yeah but you come up here. Traveling by tree leaves no track."

"Hmm, who needs trees when you can fly?" asked Maloran retorically as he turned into a raven. "Besides, i could use the air.....try walking across the ground for 5 days in a row with no sleep." said Maloran as he flew up and landed on a nearby branch.

'I would think that flying 5 days in a row with no sleep would be worse.' Alex began to jumped from branch to branch in the direction of the town she had just come from.

"What's your story? i figured someone like you would have an interesting one." asked Maloran as he followed Alex.

"Oh, I'm not sure. I really must get back. . ." She looked back the way she came, noting it wasn't as late as she thought it was. "But I suppose I could go for a little while."
