Jude awoke with a splitting migraine.

‘Ugh, my head where am I. ‘

Jude pushed himself off the floor and scanned his surroundings. He was in a dark, decaying room with no windows that smelled of death. The floor was a made of a grayish wood that seemed to be stained in several places with an unknown substance. The walls had a similar colored, though in a slightly lighter shade, wall paper on them that was peeling back in multiple places to reveal the white wall beneath. On the wall Jude was facing was written Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate in the same unknown substance. Jude took a step towards said wall.

‘Abandon all hope ye who enter here, wait is this written in blood, it looks like it but why?’

Jude thoughtlessly turned around and jumped back when he saw a person slumped over in the corner. After a few seconds he realized the person wasn’t moving. His eyes were drawn to a piece of paper clutch in the person hand. He cautiously crept towards the person and snatched the paper out of his hand; he then darted back and uncrumpled the paper.

Welcome to my humble adobe, you have been hand selected to participate in a game I like to call stay alive, which as you probably can guess the goal in which is to stay alive. Simple enough right, well you’re in for a surprise. To give you a fighting chance I’ve bequeath to you a weapon and a magical orb somewhere in this room. I would suggest you figure out how to use the orb before you leave this room, unless of course you don’t value your life which you wouldn’t have been picked if you didn’t.

It was then Jude noticed an orb in the other hand of the corpse and a belt with a scabbard that held a knife around its waist. Jude unbuckled the belt and fastened it around his waist. He pulled out the knife and inspected it. It was a basic silver colored knife with a plain black handle, nothing more nothing less. He sheathed it and reached for the orb.

For the next twenty minutes he tried everything to get the orb to work; throwing it, squeezing it, slamming it against the wall, speaking to it. He collapsed on the floor in a heap panting.

‘It’s hot in hear, I wish a breeze could blow through here. He began to imagine what it would feel like and soon he could swear he could feel it.

‘Wait, I’m not imagining things… I wonder.’ He imagined a tornado in the corner of the room and soon a tornado formed in said corner.

For a while he imagined all sorts of things though he soon discovered that the orb would only conjured things related to wind.

‘I suppose it’s better than nothing.’ He turned to the one door in the room and grabbed the handle, beginning his journey.

'Well that's, that's' Jude thought as he flew to the door, using the wind to bring the others with him.

The room they entered was about 5 by 5 and a dull brown color.

'That's weird, this room seems completely normal.'

The girro that had been sitting on his shoulder jumped off.

"You still owe me you know." He said, looking directly at the Girro while placing Jane on the ground.

"I know don't remind me, what do you want from me."the Girro respond in that creepy voice of its

Jude smirked. "Information."

"What do you mean?"

"I want you be our guide."

"And if I refuse."the girro questioned, the deeper part of it's voice becoming more prominent.

"I pin you to the wall and vivisect you, right here right now." Jude replied, nonchalantly

From the look into Jude's eyes and the way he ghosted his hand over the handles of his knife, the Girro knew Jude was not exaggerating.

"Alright fine." Jude could sense that the Girro was lying through, his teeth but he would deal with that later.

"Where are we?"

"A break room, you can relax here for 24 hours before you have to move on."

"And what happens if we don't move on" Jude asked hesitantly, not looking forward to the answer.

"Toxic gas is released into the room."

"Tsk it got away" Viral said with little bit disapointed tone when he missed just little bit his attack on puppeteer.

"So we can stay here and recover for some time" Viral said and looked still around if there was any traps or something.

Viral leaned on wall and heard horrible voice through it, it was like man's whispering, but it was more dangerous and demonic. "Another monster aiming on us? Wouldn't be big surprise, but I shouldn't be concerned about it right now" Viral thought and then sat on floor and started to feel sleepy again.

"I can't fall a sleep now!" Viral thought and tried to keep himself awake.

 

(Remember that Nightmare can attack on anyone who falls a sleep, but he can attack on only one at time and nightmare can be killed by waking up the one who is a sleep)

Jane soon woke up her leg and shoulder throbbing. "W-what happen?" She asked holding her head.

Marina backed against the wall and breathed. "(This hell is...is just...I feel like I wanna die already.)"Marina thinks as she rested her head back. "(I wanna die. Someone kill me,I don't know if my little heart can take it any longer.)"Marina thinks as she shook. She then shook her head and looked up some with somewhat dull eyes. "(What is going to happen to us? Will we survive all this or simply fight for nothing...)"Marina thinks. She then looked up with glaring eyes and turned to Jane. It seemed she had regain control over her body. "Finally. You're awake."Marina says. She got closer,shivery,and shaky. "Whatever took ahold of you tried to kill us. Sorry that I stabbed you."Marina says.

Jane looked at Marina. "It's ok. At least I didn't die." 'Maybe it's safer if I stay with this group,' Jane thought.

"Hmmp, you should be more careful, letting that clown take you over like that" Viral said with little bit rude tone. Viral leaned on wall and kept listening whispering like voice behind it. "Say Jude, what should we do after we leave this room? There will be something even worse incoming" Viral said to Jude.

 

Suddenly Viral started to feel sleepy again and then thought: "Damnit, why do I feel so, sleepy?"

Viral fell asleep.

 

"Welcome back, kid" Nightmare said and slashed Viral

Viral growled and tried to dodge Nightmare's attacks and then tried to find his orb.

"It's not here!"

"You looking for this?" Nightmare asked and rolled small green orb on his hand. "Looks like you are defenseless this time"

"Shit!" Viral thought and tried to run away from Nightmare, find place to hide until he would wake up

Viral felt how cold sweat dropped from his forehead as he found closet and went inside it.

"Where are you, kid?" Nightmare talked by himself as he walked around looking for Viral

Soon Viral noticed that he didn't heard Nightmare's noise and sighed

"Right behind ya" Nightmare said behind Viral, inside the closet.

Viral took hit on his back and screamed

"This is more like it!" Nightmare shouted

(All wounds Viral takes inside his dream will be transfered on his real body)

Jane glared at Viral as he slowly started to sleep. "Is he tired or does he just sleep in random times?" Jane said.

"The ringmaster said he was being haunted by something called a nightmare."

Viral let out a piecing scream and blood started to flow from underneath his back.

'That's not good.' Jude thought rushing over to viral.

"Girro what do we do?"

"I have a name you know, it's servus."

"Fine, servus what do we do."

"You need to wake him up, than the monster will appear."

'And just when I thought we were going to get a break.'

Jude stuck his finger him his mouth, coating with saliva, and then stuck it in Viral's ear. (wet willie)

'Hope this works.'

Marina stared. She saw as Jude did a wet willie into Viral's ear. It sent gross shivers down Marina's spine as she backed against the wall. "Ew Jude is that nessesary?!"Marina asks as she stared. She thought for a while and shook her head slightly. "(Well that defines it. I won't fall asleep around them. Nope. Not around these maniacs. NOPE. NU-UH.)"Marina thinks. She held her head and rested against the wall. "(Ay ay ay...)"Marina thinks. She then felt something small around her shoullder. She looked up and then turned to her shoulder. She just saw the cutest spider simply staring at her with all 8 eyes. Marina stared right into its eyes as she went completetly pale. Her arachnophobia/insectophobia acting up once more. She hated bugs. They made her sick,they made her scared,they made her not wanna live in this world sometimes. The spider blinked. That's all it took. Marina screamed at the top of her lungs and waved her arm around. The spider had jumped off already at this point,but Marina was simply frantic. "GET OFF GET OFF GET OFF GET OFF GET OFF!!!"Marina screamed as she picked up the orb and lifted it. Lifing the group up into the air. Then slamming the orb down,slamming the ground back down onto the floor. Marina shook and seemed to collapsed onto her knees as she satted down in fetal position. "Get it away from me..."

Viral felt like he got some hits on his body, not from Nightmare, probably on his real body

"Looks like kiddos figured it out, but I won't let you escape" Nightmare said

Viral dodged Nightmare's attack and then took pipe from wall, hitting nightmare and then taking his orb back

"You can't kill me, this is my world"

"Maybe, but soon we are in MY world" Viral said and then shooted acid on Nightmare

Same time Viral woke up and coughed blood. "What the hell are you guys doing?" Viral groaned and then noticed Nightmare materializing in front of him
Viral stabbed Nightmare on chest and then shooted more acid on it.
"You won this round kid, but I will be back!" Nightmare shouted as it erosed on ground
"Thats what you get, bastard" Viral panted and then felt pain on his back. "Damn, I got some damage from that guy" Viral said and ripped his shirt off and then tied it on wound, and then took his jacket on. "This shall do for now. Anyway, do you guys think that we could find some medical suplies from here? "

"I doubt it but it's worth a try." Jane said, squashing a spider by the end of her scythe.

Jude got off of Viral as he began to wake-up stared over at Marina freaking out.

'Kind of a wimp, it's just a spider.' He suddenly felt himself get lifted into the air and slammed down.

'Ow, once again just a spider.' Jude glared at Marina who was now in fetal position.

The nightmare appeared before viral and the exchanged a few blows.

"You won this round kid, but I will be back!"

'Great we're going to have to deal with him later.'Jude thought pulling himself up against one of the walls. Once his back was against the wall he brought his knees to his chest and wrap his arms around them and rested his head on his knees.

This shall do for now. Anyway, do you guys think that we could find some medical suplies from here? " Viral asked.

"I doubt it but it's worth a try." Jane replied squashing the spider that had scared marina.

"I just flat out doubt it." Jude replied.

Marina rested against the wall as she hugged her knees and shook. She looked around at the group. "Unless this place has an enfermary,or if we're lucky enough to find a first aid kit,I don't think we'll find anything useful to heal ourselves here. Unless we make the materials ourselves or something..."Marina muttered as she shook. She didn't wanted to be here. She wanted to go home. But not like she had much of a choice. She shook and looked around her. They were a small group. But if they stuck together. It was a better chance of survival. "..." Marina heard some footsteps. She turned to the side. "Did anyone hear that?"Marina asks. She stared as she could see a small shadow walking towards them. Marina stood up and pointed her sphere foward at the shadow. The shadow simply walked into the light. It was...a walking brownie..."...what?"Marina asks. She walked foward and knelt down. She picked up the thingy. It was brown,had sharp teeth,and was waving his arms around. "You're actually pretty cute..."Marina says as she smiled a bit. She saw it had a necklace. She read it. " 'Domo'..." Marina stood up and held the small creature. "He's so cute,I'm bringing it with us."Marina says.

Falling... falling... still falling...

 

Regina snapped awake, suddenly realizing her predicament. How long had she been out? The blue orb was rolling down the chute behind her, its light barely reaching below her knees. This house was really starting to-

 

With a thud, Regina crashed through one of the walls, rolling across the floor past Jude, Viral, and Marina. The orb followed, a sliver of ice trailing it across the floor. With a grunt, the girl pulled herself up against the wall, groaning when she saw where she was. "Why- how am I still in this house? Or whatever this thing is! If you want me dead, just kill me already!" She shouted to the ceiling, only realizing her company afterward. Other than the headache of smashing a wall to pieces lingered over her, so she doubted these people were hallucinations. Regina gingerly picked up her orb, stuffing it into her jacket pocket. The azure light peeked out, giving her left side a calming glow. "Um... hi." She offered meekly. "I'm Regina. Does... anyone know where Zander went?"

"hmm, We don't know what kind of building this is yet, so it wouldn't be impossible to find medical suplies: Few bandages and painkillers wouldn't be bad thing. It would be naive to think that we can remain unharmed untill the end, if there is one" Viral said and then looked at small creature which Marina found. "Are you sure that we should have these things with us, wouldn't be surprise if that thing is just trying to deceive you"

 

"Anyway" Viral said and took his spear. "Should we go soon? There shouldn't be reason for us to stay here"

"I wouldn't be so sure, the name of the game is survival which really translate into see how long you can last." Jude said.

He looked over at Regina.

"He's probably still back where you left him." Jude replied, recognizing Regina from earlier.

Jude turned to the gir-servus. "What is that."

"It's whats called a domo, it was one of the first monster ever created and one of the biggest fails as well. The only reasons they're still around is they make a great food source."

 

"Anyway, should we go soon? There shouldn't be any reasons to stay here."

"One, I am not your mom so make your own decisions and secondly are you always so quick to act, you're injured and since we don't know if we're going to find medical supplies the best thing you could do is rest for a little while, give your injuries time to heal up." Jude lamented.

Medical supplies.

 

The phrase triggered a reflex in her mind, Regina pulling out her pill bottle from her jacket pocket. Eyeing through the orange plastic, her worst fears were confirmed: empty. Great. She pocketed the bottle again, the chill of that orb starting to creep through her jacket's lining. These people had obviously banded together for some time now. Did everyone arrive here at once, or were they earlier arrivals? And if Regina were here, then was Zander alone? It all rushed through her head so quickly tha tRegina had to close her eyes, taking a deep breath. After the exhale, everything quieted down for her. "If there were any medical supplies in this place, they would probably be guarded by whatever brought us here." She offered shyly. "Maybe upstairs would be a good place to start."

"The girl is right." Servus chimed

"In this place, if you want to cross a bridge, you have to pay the toll."

Jude looked at the girro. "Maybe paying the piper would have been a better metaphor."

"When did you become talkative red eyes or do you prefer devil's child."

Jude shivered at the nicknames he had long since come to scorn.

Jane tapped on the ground impatiently, "Well? Should we get going or what?"

Marina looked up and held the Domo. She setted it down on her shoulder. The Domo kicked at Marina. It was so fluffy it didn't even hurt. Marina just stared and tapped its head. The Domo blinked and satted down on her shoulder. Marina stared and looked upfront. "Well we're not going to do anything sitting around here."Marina says as she walked around a bit and turned to the group. "We need to find atleast something to help with Viral's injuries."Marina says as she smiled a bit. "We need to find a way out. Either up or down. But this time I suggest down,since going up brought us to a circus of death."Marina says with a smile as she walked foward with the Domo sitting on her shoulder. The Domo looked up and turned to the others. He waved his arms and pointed foward. "I think there might be some stairs nearby. Lets get going. I'm hungry too so I want a bite to eat."Marina says rather calm. She grabbed the door's handle. "Now everyone be ready. Whatever's out there. Might eat us."Marina says. She opened the door and heard a loud roar. She closed it. "NEVER MIND QuQ" Marina stared and opened the door again and peeked outside. It was pretty dark. She took a few steps foward.

Downstairs? Circus of death? It was obvious that she had missed a few things, but these people seemed to know more about what they were doing than she did. Regina approached the door cautiously. That girl basically vanished when she walked through, the darkness obscuring any view inside. Hesitantly, Regina entered the dark space, immediately feeling a hand on her shoulder. It spun her around, the familiar face of Albert Frost inches away from her. "Your little friends can't stop us." His voice was deeper, echoing. His mouth twisted into an inhuman grin. "I see everything. Every little sin your soul carries." The creature took a handful of Regina's waist, squeezing her tightly.

 

"Let go of me!" She screamed, trying to kick the creature off of her, failing as it pressed itself closer.

 

"Your soul burns, Regina Collins, and your body will burn with it." The effigy of Frost forced her left arm out straight, exposing Regina's neck. It bit down on her, Regina screaming as fire swept through her body.

 

"I said... GET OFF!" Regina reached out with her free right arm, an icicle solidifying in her grip. She brought it down on him, Frost stumbling back. It scraped at the spike in its shoulder, unaware that Regina was coming at it with another. She drove the second through its chest, and a third into its clavicle. The effigy fell down onto its knees, an expression of pain and horror etched into its face. She knelt down, a final icicle in hand. "This is what you deserve... what you get for everything you've ever done to me." She readied to drive it through Frost's head, stopping as his visage changed. The white hair faded away, revealing flaming red hair. His lab coat shortened into a casual jacket, but the anguish on his face remained the same. The boy fell forward, pinning Regina to the ground under him. She pried him off, flipping him over. It couldn't be.

 

"Zander?" Regina brushed the hair out of the boy's face, her own tightening into a mask of terror. "Zander, no. How... it can't be real. You're a trick. A fake, like the others." She began muttering quickly to herself and the body, shaking it. "Get up. Get up, dammit!" The darkness around her faded as white floors expanded around her, snaking up to cover the walls and ceiling. Regina could feel herself slipping away, but every time she tried to come back, the body in her arms dragged her back in. "No! NO!" Regina screamed in the darkness, her illusions consuming what was left of her sanity.

(sorry for lack of posting on my end, I've been busy, both parents have been out of town and i have summer class)

Jude watched Marina go into the dark followed by Regina. Jude didn't understand why they were so gun-oh about moving on to the next room. To him a few minutes of rest before the next obstacle sounded heavenly. He actually was getting rather tied and was about to fall asleep before he heard Regina scream out something.

He was about to get up when the voice in his spoke up.

Why do you care, she's just going to back-stab you later, just like all the rest of them.

'but.'

Quit fooling yourself, how are these people any different then the one's who have avoided you all your life because you were different and that scared them.

Jude plopped back down and soon allowed himself to drift off to sleep, the voice's words ringing in his ears.
