Who's Going To Replace Xehanort?

Posted

Well, so if Xehanort's Saga ends on KH3, who's going to replace him?

You think they'll include some sort of secret/extra boss in KH3 that will allude to the new Main Antagonist of the Story?

I kinda want it to be a girl. That would be awesome.

I'm pulling for Braig or Vanitas to takeover for the main villian I think Braig would be a cool antagonist

I believe it should be about reuniting Terra, aqua , and ventas.

tutti frutti. I have to agree with Rob to an extent, usually when there is at least one secret boss that characters is in a future KH game with some major influence on the story, even though not all of them were enemies in their story lines. As far as I know Terra is the only character who wasn't initially a villian when BBS started through a good chunk of the game. The only way I would count him as an enemy is from the point when his body is taken over by MX. In a sense I could see a female enemy being there since there are only a handful of female KH characters in the mix compared to the number of guys. But I would have to say that Nomura may have a hard time creating a character that maybe as good as MX.

That's a great idea to have the next antaganist female. The closest thing we've got to a female antaganist is Larxene and, to an extent, Marluxia. (i say Marlu bc like you know he was intended to be a woman lol and most people thought he was a girl when they played CoM).

Honestly, I think that what Nomura should do is instead of trying to top MX, he should make the next villain just completely *different* from MX, so that the next villain can stand on their own without being compared to MX.

Only one person is evil enough to replace Xehanort. GLaDOS.

tutti frutti. I agree with you there VoidXName. Much like how the FF series have their own major villain in each of the game, there should be another villain that makes their own impact on the KH franchise. Looking back on how Marluxia was originally meant to be female, I think that it would have been a great idea, especially since Larxene was in a sense the "only actual" female of Org. XIII. And Larxene stuck out as her own character for being the only female KH villain, other than Xion (but I guess that's up for debate) It would be interesting to see someone like Kairi, Namine, Aqua or Olette as the next major villain, just someone that's female, yet someone we would have a hard time picturing as the next major villain.

Aqua seems to the most likely of the four IMO. However the only way Nomura could make this work without ruining her character is if she were a light-based anti-villain who wants to eradicate all darkness so that there is no more conflict or suffering. She's always believed in Eraqus' pro-light anti-darkness teachings even before BBS; who's to say that Xehanort's actions combined with her time in the RoD haven't reinforced her views?

Remember in KH2 when Goofy said that if everyone's hearts were 100% pure-light then the Heartless and such would "go away?" Aqua would simply be trying to make that a reality.
