Man implants magnets in his own skin for his iPod!

Featured Replies

"surgically implanted four magnets into his wrist"

O_o This is almost as stupid as getting your ears pierced, getting hair extensions, getting a tattoo or even getting plastic surgery

"Back in March, it was revealed that Nokia has issued patents for "vibrating tattoos," which could be permanently attached to a person's body and used to alert them when they were receiving a phone call or text message"

That's actual a pretty smart idea.

Because piercings, tattoos, hair extensions and plastic surgery, things that make people happy, boost their self-confidence, feel good about themselves is stupid.

...I was being sarcastic

Its his body so he can do whatever he likes to it . However i think its stupid bc magnets arent supposed to be under skin.. Who knows what future health implications this might have ?.. Im all for self expression but not if it endangers ones self... This is coming from someone who has piercings and tats..xD

That's pretty... Disgusting... But whatever makes him happy I guess. I wouldn't be able to have that kind of thing. I could only just pierce my ears. Nothing else. I would hate it...

Okay so I've nothing against people doing what they want to themselves, that's up to them, but there are just so many things wrong with that I just... ew.

I see nothing wrong with this... in my opinion it's not much different from tattoos and piercings (which obviously that guy doesn't have a problem with).

I don't think it'll work though... those have got to be some pretty strong magnets to hold an iPod for an extended amount of time.

And aren't magnets bad for the iPod? Usually putting a magnet next to a computer is a bad idea...

Have fun at airflight security derp, I hope he has his tetanus shot

Beat me to it- shoot!
