May 13, 201213 yr x blade can be created when hearts of pure darkness and pure light are forged together. This is however hasty attempt as MX himself said. Real way to create it is to have 13 warriors of darkness and 7 protectors of light to fight together. Princess of hearts, who has fragments of original x-blade in their hearts are also involved in this plan and they might even end up being killed in order to get x-blade fragments.
May 13, 201213 yr tag this as a spoiler, you talk about the vessels it was explained because xehanort needed a heart of pure light and darkness, thus he split ventus' heart and thus could start his plan to forge the X-blade Xehanort knew that his plan in BBS would fail, it was his primary goal to get a new body, it would be easier for him if ventus and aqua would be gone too his plan that has bene revealed in 3D is a lot bigger, it will be his last plan though

It was likely another failed attempt to obtain the x-blade. Wow. My theory about the Keyblade is getting more and more likely with every entry in the series.
June 6, 201213 yr I think it was because MX found Ven and thought he could mold and shape him to what he thought would work to form the X-blade.
