Due to limited resources on KH3D info (at least for me) and just plain interest, I've decided to ask anyone who has this info from playing the Japanese version of the game. I don't mind spoilers that much, but for anyone reading, there may or may not be spoilers below (that is if anyone replies).

 

My questions are the following:

 

1. What are Sora and Riku's final stats at Lv.99 and also the max HP for both?

2. How long does a full Drop Gauge last? And is there any way to replenish it?

3. Personally do you prefer Ultima Weapon or Overdrive?

4. How long does the average player take to complete the game?

5. Is it difficult to level all the way up to 99?

6. Is the game itself harder that other KH titles? If so, what difficulty would you recommend be used first? (Personally, I am going to do Proud first. But that opinion may change.)

7. What are the Trophies that are in this game?

8. Who do you prefer to play as, Sora or Riku?

9. Errr. Oh yes, What are your favourite Dream Eaters?

10. How are they obtained?

1. Sora's max stats : HP - 320 Str - 67 Mag - 71 Def - 61, Riku's max stats : HP - 360, Str - 69 Mag- 70 Def - 58

 

2. Drop Gauge lasts about 15 minutes I think , but it really depends on your Drop speed.

 

3. Ultima Weapon, more balanced for me.

 

4. I was on Proud Mode first so it took me 39 hours to beat the game. Replaying it at the moment for other trophies.

Maybe 35-40 hours for average gamers?

 

5. Like Birth by Sleep, yes. Usually, I'm levelling up once per drop, until I got to level 60.

 

6. Yes, this game is a lot harder. Dream Eaters are a lot different compared to heartlesses, nobodies and unversed, in movement and in battle style. Plus, they crowd up in most encounters. Proud was definitely a challenge haha. (Get the good abilities first)

 

7. 18 trophies:

• Clear game
• Clear game on Proud
• Accumulate 2000 drop points all together
• Complete all Flick Rush Tournaments
• Defeat 2500 Nightmares
• Accumulate 5000 munny
• Beat all the Special Portals
• Accumulate a score of 75000000 in Dive mode
• Beat 1000 enemies with Free Flow Action
• Get all treasure
• Get all breeds of Dream Eaters
• Get all breed of Dream Eaters and get 100% of Happiness?
• Beat on Critical Mode
• Use 50 Link attacks
• Get all Status Ups - HP 5x , Atk 3x , Mag 3x, Guard 3x
• Take a photo with the Dream Eaters 20x
• Open 30 Link Portals

8. I prefer Sora. His Link action abilities are fun and because 'Glide'. Riku is fun too but he is too vulnerable in his Link Action form. He has cool darkness moves though~

Ive been told that you get Hp boosts from Certain dream eaters so i think its what you equip affects your stats. Plus i also hear that there is stat boosts (don't know if for sora or riku, or if its for dream eaters though)

I checked over the Ultimania again and those HP bonuses I mentioned were from beating the Bosses and Special Bosses. You can get additional HP boosts from Dream Eaters that have the status abilities. They just add some more HP along the way.

 

Well we have all the abilities we got in KHBBS like Magic Haste, Defender and Exp Walk. There are also extra ones like Guard Up, Attack Up, Holy Guard and Spirit Boosts (Boosts up Link Gauge and stuff)

 

I don't actually know how the Drop Speed actually accumulates but there are factors which seem to increase it. It can go from 0.5 to 2, like 1/2 time to double time.

Drop speed is the number of times the gauge drops per second, i am fairly certain that lets say we were at 100% drop guage, if it was going down by 0.5 then it would take an average of 30 mins per drop (going by the every 15 mins but i think its longer, mainly an example) which induces on how far lets say sora is from riku. 1 is the normal speed, where as 2 is x2 faster than 1, hence it would be 15 mins divided by 2 to make every 7.5 mins you drop (i would assume if you focused more on rikus story or something it would be like that). I hope that helped.

 

btw, i think its longer than 15 mins, because then it would be kinda annoying . also who else is annoyed by them fixxing the drop gauge vs bosses. it felt like more of a challange when you are fighting vs the clock knowing that the hp will be full again. but now they fixxed it :'(

so is critical mode the only mode that you keep dream eaters?

-I will add on as well that for the drop gauge, you can use items to recover the gauge back to normal which allows you to extend the time for sora/riku. I have a video here

Also there are enemies who can increase the speed of how fast the gauge drops. If i remember the frogs, sheep, or any enemies who have sleep magic will increase the gauge( since the game is about sleeping and dreams, it makes sense) so yes thats one way your drop gauge can increase.

 

-As for how long it took, I finished the game in about a week or so, but this was on proud mode, i replayed the game again on critical since you must first unlock critical by playing proud mode only i think (correct me if I am wrong on this).

 

-And i say riku is way better overall in this game then sora, since riku gets abilities and attacks that resemble something from ventus, terra, and aqua from the previous game: Barrier, shadow dash, the link styles from BBS, and certain attacks like limit storm, etc. Sora is good too, but I feel he's more useful with the dream eaters since he plays a different role this time around.

 

-As for enemies they are very difficult. I still dont know anyone who can pull off a level one run in this game without getting hit. Enemies dont stagger very much this time so it makes them harder to hit, you'll sometimes be hearing the low health sound alot if your not careful.
