If EA and Ubisoft have their own press conferences...

Posted

Why doesn't Square Enix? It's a very large 3rd party developer as well, and in my opinion, its games are better than EA and Ubisoft's games. Why can't it get its own press conference?

Do they have that many games waiting to come out? I don't know. If they don't announce at E3, then there's hardly any 'surprises' left, ruining E3 forever.

It's because their fanbase is much smaller and they don't make games as often. Any release can easily be tied into the conference of the respective console the game is coming out for.

Square Enix=Japan(though it has a company in America, it's games come from Japan, which is why Nintendo and Sony present their games)

EA=America

Ubisoft=America

It is mainly a Japan company, and plus they dont have that many games coming out right now.

What Fred said and because press conferences are expensive. For companies that release many games a year, it's worth it for the advertising. Not so much for SE. But they do have a pretty large booth for E3.

It would be cool if they did, then we could have something other then the big conventions to get news from.

Aren't they French-Canadian though? I know they have a big studio in Montreal. That's a part of North America.

Well I'm not familiar with their studios that much but their main offices are in France somewhere. Neh, doesn't matter xD

Pretty much what everyone else has said.

Not enough fans, not enough games, not as well known as EA and Ubisoft.

They cover their games at E3 fine in my opinion.

Thanks for the correction, but my point still stands. Just sayin'.
