Robert Habernathy picked up and twirled around the new weapon he had made. A staff that would fire bolts of light. There was no chance of failure. It was HIS invention, after all.

He pulled down his goggles and fired the staff at a practice dummy. In a flash, the dummy was in pieces, smoldering slightly. Robert raised his goggles and smiled.

"As always, works like a charm." he said.

Cross had just returned to the base after stopping another terrorist group from destroying a government building. "Huuuuh, they sure do keep coming out of nowhere that makes seven this weekcan't people understand what where doing here is to protect them geez," He said as he closed the door to his room. He layed on his bed thinking of reasons the people don't want to live in peace and fell asleep. Next thing he heard was a knock on the door.

Azrael held her head on the bed that was her's inside a house that her and Rune stole. She had a splitting headache. She was glad she did not join the Malbone because this would happen every day. Azrael sat up and walked into the kitchen to take some meds. "I just spotted spy's to the east" Rune poked his head through the arch-way to our living room. "Perfect..." I sarcastically sighed. I walked out side with Rune and grabbed on to my weapon on a belt. "Lets go." I said. We lived out in the middle of nowhere, just a big field. I scanned around the east then to see two figures dressed in suites about 50 yards away. Rune took out his dagger as we started sneakily winding though the field. I struck one once and turned to the other as Rune held his hands to make sure the other man did not escape. "What are you pathetic Malbone spies doing here in the north! What are you doing in our territory!? Get out or I'll kill you!" I yelled. "Ha,Ha...that's a lie." the spy said. He pulled a gun and put it to my head. I looked into his eyes and motioned a thumbs-up to Run, meaning now. He stabbed the guy in the back. "You two will know us as the faces of your death. Try to run away and you will die faster. I'm Azrael by the way. Or, The angel of death." I remarked to them. We walked away to the house again. "That was frightening." I whispered to Rune. "Ya..." He agreed. We spent the rest of the day working.

"What is it I was just trying to sleep," Cross said as he opened the door. standing there was a man with grayish black hair that looked to be in his mid forties with blue eyes in a military uniform. "You're Cross right," The man said. "Yes may I ask who's asking," Cross replied. "I am General Hachi I am here tell you that from today on I am you new commanding officer so you're to come recieve your missions from me got that," General Hachi said. "Sir," Cross said. "Report to my office at 7:00A.M tomorrow got it so don't be late," Hachi said which was followed by his departure. "A General, really," Cross said as he layed back in bed and went back to sleep.

Rune stood up quickly as we were eating. "What's wrong?" Azrael asked. "The Malbone...something is not right..." he scanned through are window. Azrael saw Rune's eyes widen. He suddenly grabbed on to me just as the windows were shot with a gun. " Second time I've saved you today." he laughed. "I will pay you back." Azrael punched him playfully. "We are under attack. They found out." he said. "Lets go." Azrael commanded. Azrael ran to her room and grabbed a bag that we packed just in case. We both ran out of the house, avoiding bullets. We ran away from the house and ran toward the town. "Hey,Hey. No more running now." A solider general commanded picking both of us up. "LET GO OF ME YOU FOLL! YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOUR DEALING WITH!!" Azrael yelled. "Oh, a fussy little girl." he said putting us down. "Let me through!" Azrael commanded. "We will take her." the Malbone guys demanded. "Oh, Hello! Goodbye." the guard grabbed both of us and run off. When he put Azrael down as she crossed her arms. "Now you choose symphony for us." she teased. "Okay, so If you guys join my army I'll do what ever you want" he begged. "Suppy us with shelter, food, water I'll join" Azrael said. "I'll join to." Rune said. "I'm General Aaron." he said. "Azrael" she introduced. "Rune" Rune said. "Let's go." Aaron said

Jump, shoot, dodge, run. Don't think. Just run. Viva rolled as a bullet passed over her head. Shoot. She fired an arrow, catching the Malbone soildor. Dodge. She ducked under a rock as another barrage flew over her. Run. Like lighting she shot off, taking a narrow tunnel back to her village. She reached the other side and walked to her house, pulling her fathers goggles off her eyes. "Mom?" Viva asked the small house as she walked in. A small note caught the corner of her eye. Her mom was out. Sighing, she walked out of her home, and back to the war.

 

~Avis~

 

Avis pulled her hood over her head as she entered the market. Everyone thinks the Malbone citizens live cushy lives, always having enough food, always more than enough luxuries. She walked by a fruit stand and whipped out her hand when the stand owner wasn't looking. They think we have no troubles, because we have an army fighting for us. Running her heand over smooth wood, pieces of cloth disappeared under her hand. Leaving the market, and back to a little hut she called home, she tossed an apple to her sister, Fortunata. "Got you some new clothes for tomorrow." she said, dropped her bag on the floor. "Yeah, tomorrow we'll be in the Malbone."

(Alright, I'm going to be gone for a while, so if rikunobodyxiii could enforce rules while I'm gone, I'd be grateful.)

Azrael, Rune and Aaron walked into a room for her. Her eyes sparked at the scene. "This is the brightest room we have." he said. The room contained a white bed with a balcony with a door and curtains. Also a separate bathroom and dresser. "Your Amazing Aaron!" Azrael thanked him. "My pleasure, you will have hard times ahead." he said. "Rune, I'll show you to your room. Azrael, If you need my I will be in the front." he said. I bowed to him and walked out to the balcony.

Azrael was up on her balcony when a mysterious creature came up. It was a fox-like creature with a little dot on it's head. It was a mutant-fox caused by pollution from the Malbone technology. "Why are you not just a mutant fox-chinchilla..." she pet its face. It rubbed against me. "Lets get you cleaned up." Azrael said. This was on of the few moments in peace. She was only content during the night. When me and the fox-chinchilla were cleaned up, and she was in her white tank top and sweat pants. She walked out to my balcony again. "A baby fox-chinchilla?" Rune popped out from the roof. "Oh dear god! You gave me a heart attack! Why are you up here its embarrassing!" Azrael yelled. "Don't worry. If you remember we used to look at the star's every night." Rune said. "Rune, that was a long time ago. If you remember, we lived apart from each other and met on a mountain every night to look up at the star's." she explained. "Ya..." he wondered. "Stop wearing long sleeves for once!" Azrael complained. "I cannot." Rune shocked back. He rolled up his sleeve to show the long scar. Azrael shivered at the look of it. "We should really go to bed." Rune insisted. "Ya, sure." She agreed. "See you later." Rune wished goodnight. Azrael got a bed of an extra pillow and some blankets for the fox-chinchilla named Nyx.

Robert put a few finishing touches on his light staff before calling it through. He picked it up and held it. He would probably either work out a good holster for it or make a smaller version of it. But that was for later. Now was the time to show off. He left his lab, looking for someone to show off to.

Cross had just left Hachi's office after recieving his mission. "I don't like that guy, but orders are orders I guess," He said walking down the hall. "Well better get some breakfast before I start,"he said. After eating he had grabbed all his equipment and headed out. A few hours later he arrived at his destination Thenasis.

Viva snuck through the trees, being careful not to step on any twigs. She spotted a path in the woods, and immediatly recognized it. This led to Robert's lab. Walking on the path, she soon found him, holding some sort of staff. His invention, no doubt. Seeing him, she walked over. "What does it do?" she asked, knowing he was showing it off and wanting to show someone how it worked.

When Azrael woke up it was about 9:00. She walked into the hall after getting dressed with Nyx on her head. "Nobody's Here." she said walking over to a table getting her something to eat. She looked down to a letter from Rune.

 

Dear Azrael,

Sorry that all of us left. I went to due work with the solders. Meet me near the old house that we lived in at noon.

Azrael finished eating and decided to polish her sword. She was ready to head over there soon.

 

{Rune}

 

Rune was running through the woods away from some Malbone members. He arrived in a field alone again. As so he thought. A Malbone solder appeared behind him with a gun to his head. "I'm dead, sorry Azrael" Rune thought. "Your coming with me." the Malbone solder said. Rune was knocked out on the way to a city. "We are in Thenasis now." the solder said. The army men tied rune to a pillar near the beginning of the sad, dusty city of the Bona that the Malbone almost completely took over.

 

After a little while Rune opened his eyes to see he was in chains. "This is just great." Rune heaved. Then he saw a man walking his way (Cross). "Hey!" Rune yelled.

Church sat on the ground, tied up by the malbone. he was completely silent. "looks like this little chump is going to die" he overhears the guard looking his way. Church smiles and looks up at them with his bloodshot eyes. "if you are going to kill me, you should have taken away my pistol." at that moment, Church narrows his eyes and fires the handgun from behind his back, ricocheting off the roof and destroying his restraints.A malbone soldier had already began beating church with a crowbar but it seemed like he wasn't taking damage. church side-steps the 6th blow and performs a vicious right hook and the guard stumbles to the floor. "Church uses punch, its super effective!" he shouts reaching for his sniper. the alarms were bleating in his ears. he looks over and starts running towards the nearest window. after diving through the glass,he recalls he's 400ft in the air on a cargo plane. "oh crap" he whispers falling.

Rune sighed and managed to bring out his sword to unlock the chains. He then dashed over to Church and made something to break his fall. After that he slapped out his phone to call Azrael. "Hello?" she answered. "Hey we have a situation." Rune told her. "What?" she asked. "Where are you now exactly?" He asked with a laugh. "Going to the old house." Azrael answered. "Come to Thenasis...Malbone guards took me there so be extremely careful okay?" he asked. "Sure." Azrael said knowing that Rune was in troble. "I'll be there in a second." she said hanging up. "Nyx, we are taking a detour." Azrael said. She then ran to the house to grab a horse but then Aaron pulled up with a motor-cycle. "Get on and hurry up to." he warned. Azrael hopped on the back of the motor-cycle. Aaron zoomed off to Thenasis. Malbone soldiers were on there tales in the first second we got there. "Get em' off my tail will ya'?" Aaron asked. She gave him a nod and pulled her golden sword. Azrael managed to get them about a mile behind when she put her sword up. Aaron pulled into Thenasis. He and Azrael jumped off the bike. "You okay boy?" Aaron asked to Church. "Are you okay Rune?" Azrael asked. "Ya, you?" Rune asked. "Fine, just a little scratch." Azrael said. They both turned to Church and Cross was now behind us.

Church looked up with a glint in his eye and a smile on his face. "I'm as pleased as punch. The names Church The Ripper but you can call me Church" church stood up and looked at his armour. It was badly damaged but fixable. "so, what are you guys doing out here or..." church pulled out his pistol and pointed it at them. "....or are you with malbone?! I am not going back to that hell hole you call a sanctuary!" church was sick with malbone. Growing up with them taught him a valuable lesson. "animals, when in danger, are the dangerest creatures." church looked at them again. "so are you?!"

Azrael hid behind Rune, trying to hide her past life with the Malbone. Rune took out his sword and pointed it at Church. "My name Is Rune Lore. And my friend is Azeael Lucius. And Aaron here is my boss. I prefer you do not bother us because we are with the Bona and you should not insult us. If you will. Let us leave without a fight. Or, we will end you." Rune said. ( Azrael's Battle music) "True" Azrael pulled her sword. "I'll pass, looks like you two have got this." Aaron said running back to the motor-cycle. "Wimp" Azrael whispered. Rune laughed from this statement. "So, are you going to fight two Bona members? Or not?" Rune asked taking off his jacket reveling his scar.

Church lowered his M9. "why would I fight a fellow bona?" church smiled. "so rune, I guess you've never heard of me. I'm also from the bona but I work jobs no one else wants to take. Mainly assassination." church explained. He oftenlly killed malbone generals for money but recently he decided he'd do it for the bona themselves. "it wa nice to chat and everything but I think it's time I left." saying this, church tapped a button and a big,black Harley appeared from the dust. He wheelied on the back as if he was on a horse and it was kicking towards the sky. "if you need me, don't be afraid to shout the words 'rippers rip the malbone!'" and with that church drove off without looking back.

Azrael laughed. "What a character" she sighed. "Well lets leave." Rune said turning around. When the arrived back,it was almost dusk. Everyone ate dinner and went to bed. Nyx refused to sleep in her bed. Azrael stayed up thinking about what Aaron said to her. "Tomorrow I'm going to be doing a real mission. Was today's mission not really real enough?" she asked herself.

When Avis woke up the next morning, she shook Fortunata awake. "Come on, let's get going." she murmured. Fortunata rubbed her eyes, and reluctantly followed her sister outside. They walked up to the military office, and went to the man working th sign-up desk. "We're here to sign-up for the Malbone." Avis said bravely. The man eyes them warily and shrugged. "We have enough solidors, but you may join." Avis breathed a sigh of relief, and pulled her sister to the Malbone building.

Robert smiled at Viva.

"It's only one of the greatest weapons mankind has currently." He said, pride obvious in his voice.

He twirled it around as if he was about to use it on something, but returned it to a standing position at his side.

"So, what have you been doing?"

Azrael woke up the next morning. Today her and Rune were going to a Malbone city, armed but very secretive. They had to go find out more about the war. They both headed out walking this morning wearing cloaks to hide there weapons. "You look ridiculous Azrael..." Rune laughed. "Well you do to long sleeved boy." she pitched in. "What ever silver hair!" Rune teased. "Mr. I wear a jacket all the time!" Azrael yelled. "Hey!Hey!HEY!!!" Aaron yelled. "If you to keep fighting one of you could get hurt. So stop arguing!" Aaron gave advice. Nyx jumped up on my shoulder and ran into my hood, blending in with my silver hair. "Lets go." Rune said. They both walked to Landon Height's, a hill full of house's full of technology. Azrael stuck her tongue out. "I despise this place." she spit out. "Don't say that!" Rune whispered. They both took there hoods off and Nyx sat on Azrael's shoulder. Rune and her both walked into a store full of electronics. "What do you want?" an unappealing women asked at the front desk. "You do not look like you are from around here..." she snapped. "It's because we are not." Rune bravely admitted. Azrael stepped on his foot with her boot as hard as she could. "OUCH!!!! HEY! What was that for?!" he yelled. "Aaron told us not to tell anybody anything about where we live. He said, ' Just tell them you are from that evil place called Thenasis.' so tell her that." Azrael whispered. "We are from Thenasis, and are Malbone." Rune lied. "What suspicious characters you are...what do you want?" the woman asked. "We need an up-dated tablet" Azrael said holding out some money. "Sure..." she said handing one over taking our hundred's from our hands. "Now give me something in return!" she commanded. rune and Azrael looked at each other. "I've got this." Azrael said pulling out her I-pod. "You better be PRETTY GRATEFUL I gave that to you." Azrael yelled. The lady frowned, "I could have gotten that cute little mutated fox-chinchilla instead!" the woman complained. Nyx hissed at the woman. Azrael put her hand over the fox-chinchilla saying, "Why would a foolish woman like you want this poor thing". the woman sighed as they both left. They ran off to the forest and started reading a paragraph. "A cargo plane was attacked by a mysterious man yesterday. The plane was heading to Thenasis and a teenage boy saved the man and he was with a girl. They all escaped before they could be caught. The search continues for these people." Rune read aloud. "Nice, now we have spies after us again." Azrael complained. "Keep your mouth shut." he snapped. We walked through the forest for about three hour's then they both knew that they were in the Bona when they came up on a house. They both walked in the door way to see a young man and another girl talking. (Robert and Viva). "Um,do you know exactly were we are?" Azrael asked.
