June 6, 201214 yr Transition year is a load of bollocks, it's just a doss year. I'd say work experience was the only good thing i took away from it. I had no idea you were an Irish brother tho.

I had no idea you were an Irish brother tho. yikes your Ty must of been real different to the one we had in my school we got to go to Barcelona and everything thanks to Ty and it shore as hell wasnt a doss we did a tone of work but we still had are fun and ya Irish here man born and breed in south Galway

Transition Year is an extra year in school we have in Ireland in most Secondary Schools its mainly a year most students use if they think there to young to do the leaving cert course or if they some other personal reasons like myself anyway in Transition Year unlike the normal school courses its a more practical year where students have allot more freedom and can even come to the teachers and plan stuff they want to do themselves you also get a chance to do subjects you wouldnt normally do like cooking accounting and technical drawing theres allot to it really but its allot of fun and since its mainly only a group of like 30 or so the whole TY class normally always grow close all becoming good friends and thats a rough idea of what TY is
