Final Fantasy III coming to PSP

PSP version ported from DS version. Out in August.

Final Fantasy III is coming to PSP. Next week’s Jump has first word on the release, which is a port of the 2006 DS version. Players will be able to toggle between the new soundtrack and the original Famicom soundtrack. The game will launch on September 20 in Japan for 3,800 yen at retail / 3,300 yen on PlayStation Network.

yeah psp has turned into a super square enix machine,ff1-9,ff type 0 (japan),ff7 crisis core,kh bbs and 3d birthday

all of these great games in a handheld

I don't have anything against FF3 (It being one of my fav FF games) but I would be looking forward for this if it wasn't a port of the DS version. I absolutely hated the character models.

Whoa is this legit? I kinda thought SE had given up support of the PSP! Although since it says it's just a digital release it doesn't seem like an expensive commitment. I hope it's for real and that maybe they'll do an english version! Mind you tho I would not pay 30 euros! It's broken pricing like that which stops me from buying digital games although most PSP games are for like a tenner I've even bought a few myself

This is pretty stupid. It's already available on DS and iOS, and most people already have at least one of those. Maybe if it was a complete remake, but it's a port of the DS version. And why put it on the dying out PSP?!

why the f*ck would they bring it to psp with the vita? +.+

Uh... you guys DO know the PSP is still outselling the Vita by quite a bit, right?

Though, a DS port? Come on, that's just silly on the PSP. They should have either bothered to make new models, or done it in high quality 2D like I, II and IV Complete.

Hmm, I don't know what to think about that game.
