"Summer, a time you get to relax and enjoy life, if you are not one of the destined six. The story all began with that crazy summer camp in Japan, which was not like any camp most people visit. But I am getting ahead of myself. My name is Logan, Logan Hunt. Just your everyday guy who gets picked on alot and has hardly any friends. You see, my mother and father were good people who had to do terrible things in order to make a living because they were so poor. When I was only 4, I was taken to my uncle's place in Florida while my parents were sent to jail for life. I later found out that they had killed themselves for not being able to handle the world anymore. My uncle became my father to me, which I am glad to have such a kind man who cares alot about me. Anyways, the summer of 2012 was where our story, the story of the new tamers, began. "Bruce, come back here and give me my outfit!" Logan screamed out. He had gone to finish his last period of the year, gym, when his number one rival stole his outfit just as the last school bell was ringing. "You mean these? You want them than come and get them!" Bruce said. The two boys ran until they passed by the prinicpal. "Hold it! Bruce, how many times do you do this?" Dr. Rue asked. Bruce looked down, "Um, this would make the 20th time this year." Bruce said. "And why do you do this? Why cant you just leave Logan alone?" Dr. Rue asked. "I'm sorry. Here Logan." Bruce said. "Good, now Logan, go change. As for you Bruce, this is the final straw. I have been left with no choice, but to ban you from playing football next year." Dr. Rue said. Logan walked away with his outfit and went to the closes bathroom to change.

 

 

 

Later that afternoon, Logan went home to his Uncle's. "How was your final day?" his uncle asked. "Well Tony, not that great." Logan said. "I told you call me father. Let me guess, Bruce again? How many times does that boy do something to you?" Tony asked. "20 times this year, but its okay since he wont be able to come back next year. His family is finally moving away so I will finally be free to live my life, if I even still have one." Logan said. "Of course you have one, but that is your choice to take it or not. I got this letter in the mail for you. It seems like you have been awarded to go to a special camp all the way to Japan this summer." Tony said. "Wait, I got in? Yes, finally my life is looking up. I told you about this a while ago. I leave for this camp first thing tomorrow morning." Logan said. "Well then, I suggest we make your last day here memorible." Tony said.

Ray: "Well it seems like a good idea." Ray starts following the man.

James followed the man.

Ray: "Oh I forgot my bags. I'll catch up to you guys soon enough."

After everyone was off board, they all stopped out in front of the boat. The man then said to the boat, "Thanks for the contact and help Boatamon." he said. The boat then replied, "My pleasure boss, just make sure they get the proper training they will need, this group is much different than the last ground." the boat said with eyes and a mouth on it. "Now you are free to leave as soon as Ray gets off board, everyone else is already." the man said.

 

 

(I hope it is okay with you guys that I just skip to where Ray is the only one on board.)

"Listen here, you mo-" Grace reached out for the old man's collar, stopping a few inches short. She tightened her hand into a fist, literally shaking with rage. She stopped, her voice low and hurt. "You said you sent the invitations. That old man in the bar, that damned device, the televison... you expect me to believe that was all you?!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, uncontrolled anger rippling through the air. The device clipped to her belt jingled as she moved, only fueling her emotions. "Where do you get off abducting people, huh? Much less, a bunch of kids!" Grace gestured to the boys, her breathing shallow and rapid. Her head was beginning to spin, her legs begging to give out from under her. "What the hell do you find so important that you would do something like this?!"

"What did he mean when he said, 'last group?'" James asked. "I really don't like the sound of that."

Ray got to his room and checked to see all of his stuff was in the bags. He pulls out a picture of his family and thinks: I hope Zack and Lisa are okay. Which reminds me I have to call back when I get off the ship. Ray gets his bags and runs to the others.

"Look miss, I did all of that to get you here. Ow and how about the fate of all worlds need help and protection from the new tamers. Geez you leave people alone for a long time and they think different. Our last group of tamers were able to save the worlds at hand and come home unharmed. Now you will find out more when the time comes, which is not now." the man said.

"'When the time comes'." Grace scoffed, checking James and Logan. They seemed to be in miraculous condition, given their earlier states. This man claims to have brought them all here, and then whips out some magic potion to whisk away all of their troubles. At least, the troubles that he caused himself.

 

"You didn't say 'people'. You said 'our last group of tamers'." Grace already regretted asking the question before she even had. "What's a tamer?"

"Whether I like it or not, a tamer is what you are, and him, and him, and so on. Anyone basically who comes here is a tamer." the man said. He had put up with alot through out the years, but this girl was making him way more mad than anyone has ever made him.

Ray caught up to the others, exhausted from running. Ray: "Hey there everyon; what did I miss?"

"Wait, I saw this on T.V. before!" James exclaimed. "What was it called...? Pokemon? Tinymon? Fridgimon?"

"Digimon. Surprise to find where you are? The anime nonsense in the real world is based on the adventure of our first group of tamers because the person who created it was in the original group." the man said.

Ray: "Wow; the show I loved as a kid turns out to be real!"

"That makes so much sense," James said in amazement.

"Tamers, Digimon, What the H is that?" said Travis to the man.

 

"This sounds a bit stupid... But the boat had freaking eyes and mouth, what the H is going on?" thought Travis.

"Digital monsters." Grace couldn't help but laugh at the thought. This was just absurd. But then again...

 

She unclipped the device from her waist, giving it another once over. Put into context, it did seem kind of familiar...

Ray: "So when do we get our Digimon partners?" Ray was excited with the thought.

"First off, this is real and not a joke. Second, you guys are tamers, remember your cell phones when they got a message? That is your digivice now. Third, you don't just get a digimon partner, you have to let them come to you, even if they don't know they are searching for you even when they meet you. Fourth, if anyone else has a question, they can hold it until we are at the bondfire." the man said.

Ray: What? Ray tries to take out his phone. But when he did, it's shaped had changed into a digivice, just like the man said. Ray: Great. Now how will I call the Landos house? Ray gets a sad and disappointed look on his face.

"What the, that cellphone cost me a lot!" said Travis as he looked into his Digivice.

 

"Great, just great, Sylvia gave me that cellphone..." thought Travis.

"Don't worry about your phones, by the end of your journey, it will become the way it once was like it never changed at all. Now please, come." the man said and went into the woods on the island.

"Well, I've got nothing to lose," James said, following the old guy. "So, is your name really Genai?"
