Well the title pretty much says it all. It was revealed in the 33rd issue of shonen jump. Although it is not clear whether it will be animated or live action , but let's just pray to God it is not live action.

IDK how i missed this, but apparently a petition to get Battle of Gods dubbed in English in the US was sent to Funimation about 3 weeks ago. I doubt it'll do much at the moment though.

 

Also i found out that over last weekend, BOG had a total revenue of US$24,836,469.

 

Toei already reached past their 2 billion Yen mark. And its been a week, but hasn't been recorded how much its sold yet, so we'll find out.

 

Im hoping Funi sees this, they could probably make as much money here with a US release as Toei did with Japan.

Yep, i got alot of energy. And thanks, im so grateful to have found out about DBZ, and im happy to be a DBZ fan, its the best. Im glad to have found so many fellow DBZ fans here aswell.

 

TBH, i didn't even know about DBZ until i watched Kai in 2010 and watched the long fight against Vegeta(From when Goku was abusing the Kaio-Ken, to when he was getting crushed by Giant Ape Vegeta) and that encouraged me to watch the original, which i favor a bit more than Kai, just because.

 

Yeah, they did great jobs with faking the moves.

Well, last time i checked, the petition reached over 10,000. Maybe that'll be enough.

 

But i think considering how well BOG did in Japan, Funimation will dub it regardless. I just really hope it doesn't take 2 whole years. At the most, i could wait for a 2014 release, but 2015 is really pushing it too far in my honest opinion.

I hope bills survives in the future. He doesnt seem that bad just doing his job as god of destruction.

Yeah. I noticed how the music is so beautiful, fits the scene pretty well. And yes, Bills does respect Goku, as he's the only person who's actually managed to Wound him and put a good fight against him. While Goku respects Bills, since he's one of the only people who's actually beaten him in a straight fight, and not won through other methods.

 

I hope he survives too. He does seem to have a kinda "Blue Orange" Morality, but its his job to destroy things, which is why I understand why he really doesn't see anything wrong with his actions, compared to other DBZ villains who just do it because they like to cause suffering and such. Besides, he's an amazing villain anyway.

I'm just wondering how they will voice in him in an English dub. I mean, in the Japanese dub he has a normal voice(But then again, that goes for every other VA in the Jap. dub, except for Goku who has the highest pitched voice ive ever heard), but in the English dubs, Funi's been known to give the villains variations in voices. Im just hoping they don't make him have a really bad Scratchy and Raspy voice just because he's catlike. I don't mind if its a little bit Raspy, as long as it doesn't sound like he has a Sore throat ALL THE TIME. Ive seen the fake dub for Scenes and Trailers, and most of them portray his voice as Raspy. Save for this trailer, in which his voice is really good and perfect:

This video has the Full LIST OF SONGS used in Battle of Gods. They aren't played, but it shows the names of all the songs. Put it in high quality to make it easier to see the names.

 

Also, i should note, its already been one whole month since Battle of Gods was released in theaters. Considering how well its done and is still doing, i say it'll probably stay in theaters for the rest of May and probably most of June, by that time itll probably go out of theaters and start its way to getting on DVD, when the rest of us can watch it. I can't wait!

He is an awesome Villain. I really like how he's not like a lot of other villains in the series

Also, im really happy that goku stills keeps being the honest and faithful character that he always was.

Even though he lost he didnt like the fact that he had to fight with borrowed powers (super saiyan god). So im expecting him breaking the wall again in the future.

 

The more I watch the last episodes of DBZ the more I find goku different with all this things happening now.

I have no problem with it, but coming from toriyama I expected something more unique. In all honesty it just looks like kaioken x1000 or something, there's not much that sets them apart design wise.
