Well the title pretty much says it all. It was revealed in the 33rd issue of shonen jump. Although it is not clear whether it will be animated or live action , but let's just pray to God it is not live action.

No. They only have "Z" covered. They still have DragonBall, the DragonBall movies, the DBZ Movies, and (sigh) DragonBall GT... that they could give the ol' Box treatment.

Remastering Dragon Ball in HD would be very expensive. They started remastering Dragon Ball Z in HD with Level 1.1 and 1.2 but they stopped because it was too expensive. Dragon Ball would also be harder and probably more expensive given it's even older than DBZ.

 

Dragon Ball Z Kai is the way to go.

This. As much as i would love a Remade DBZ with graphics like in Battle of Gods, we just have to face facts. Its too much money for Funimation to do that, and we're probably never gonna get something like that from them.

I never mentioned Dragon Ball Z being remade. That would be wrong. Dragon Ball Z is so great because of it's animation, sure the new animation is great but it's not the same. Remastering and remaking are two completely different things.

True. The original is still amazing in its own way regardless. I'd still love to see it remade though, but i'd still love the original anyway.

Wow, i found out from my friend(The same one i mentioned who watched BOG due to "Connections") that Toriyama originally intended to make Vegeta the Super Saiyan God, but he changed it to Goku for unknown reasons. Probably because it makes more sense that Goku would unlock it before anyone else, like with the rest of the SSJ forms(Except SSJ2).

Apparently, Sumitomo Norihito posted on his Website that BOG will be shown in 40+ countries outside of Japan. Maybe the US(And Australia) will get it for sure. Im still hoping it doesn't take 2 whole years though.

 

Also, Sean Schemmel says he's pretty much done with his Voice Lines for the Buu Saga in Kai. That and Kyle Herbert(The VA of Adult Gohan) is returning to voice Gohan in the Buu Saga and says he will start recording his lines in a couple weeks.

Thats a lie! He never said anything like that. And the one that made vegeta shine more than previous movies was sumitono norihito. About super saiyan goku they wanted to gave him a cape...that would be so lame and cliche. Im glad Toriyama-sama didnt approve that.
