What's the deal with Special Dream Eaters?

Posted

Soo, yeah what is their purpose? If you are wondering what I mean by "Special Dream Eater", they're the Dream Eaters which seem to have negative colours, like this:

I'm not 100% sure, but as far as I know, there's a chance when you synthesize a Dream Eater, it'll turn into a special one. Presumably with higher stats or better abilities.

Guess the only way to find out is to play the game, for now...

All I know is that they're enemies, and that you find them through special portals.

They probably drop better items than the usual ones.

They help you get stronger.

I.......don't know.......yet.

i think some dream eaters have a regular nightmare, and stronger nightmare

not sure though

idk yet havent played the game yet.

I was wondering about that, there seem to be dream eaters of the same kind but with a different color and some tweaks in the design

This is the correct answer, in KH3D there are different kinds of "portal challanges" and these Nightmares spawn from the "special portals" and are about two times stronger than the regular kind.
