about the beginning of the game....when do the entrance scenes take place?...that with riku and sora and the raft?

I'm asking myself this question over and over again :/...Riku has short hair so it can't be in KH1 bcs he had long hair http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-confuse.png...and it isn't in the dream world either bcs they haven't met Master Yen-Sid yet...and even one more question...during the game there are cutscenes,at least what I've seen in the japanese game where they meet MYS at his tower some other times...does that mean that they go in and out of the dream world? http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-confuse.png

Every Yen Sid scene are flash backs. Or at least everyone at the beginning with Sora and Riku in them. Just found out this myself.

Not every Yen Sid vid is a flashback, it only is a flashback when the game actually says it's a flashback, but there are enough cutscenes with YS which isn't a flashback, also they did go into the past when they got on the raft

They aren't the past characters themselves, they just returned to the past, when you get the game you'll understand it :P

Actually they just have their ancient appearance in the Realm of Sleep. So in the Realm of Sleep they weren't in the past, they were just dreaming and since they are from Destiny Islands their dream turned out this way because they didn't remember what happened in the Real world. I know that they weren't in the Realm of Light because when Ursula appears Sora says "Is this the test" so their not in the past (somehow they are in the past but only through a dream.).

No only the cutscenes where MYS explains the exam and background stories such as the keyblade war etc. Normally it's suppose to be written flashback when you get one of these cutscenes.
